Borghese Palace Art Hotel - Florence

We really enjoyed our stay here, from the location, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast with great selection and good coffee, and decent room size. Staying here you can walk to all the major sites.

The location and service is ok, but we wouldn't stay there in another ocassion. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking, but our first room stinked like the previous guest smoked, luckily we were able to change rooms. The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbor sneaze. Not a 4 starts hotel, but 2 or 3.

The staff were all very nice! We had a few problems with the TV working. The hot water was not hot if others were showering at the same time. One of the light bulb fixtures were tapped on with scotch tape. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is around 3-4 blocks from The Duomo, right where you want to be. Wifi in the lobby. Free breakfast. A very nice hotel. I'd stay here again.

We had difficulty finding this hotel due to the one way streets and street closures but once found discovered they had car parking next door which was excellent. Excellent spot. Practically across the street from the Bargello. Super modern and comfortable. And after traveling from the States with a 19 month old and arriving in 98 degree heat, the air conditioning was a blessing. Room was a perfect size for a couple with a baby in a portable crib. We needed help arranging a meeting with someone at our next destination in Montepulciano who didn't speak any English (and we no Italian). Max called her for us, looked up train and bus schedules and arranged the time and place. He then got us a taxi to the train station, told us what train and bus we needed to get on and sent us on our way. He even gave us a tip about buying train tickets from the Tabachi instead of waiting in the enormous line at the main ticket office. The only thing he left out was that we needed to validate those tickets so we were dinged 40 EU once on the train, but we probably could have figured that out on our own had we not been traveling with 4 suitcases, a port-a-crib and a baby. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very friendly and the bar in the hotel is awesome. I ordered a dirty martini and they hand muddled olive juice! The shower box was very small but good pressure. A nice enough hotel, but in terms of value for money I expected a little more for the cost of the room. I wouldn't recommend paying for a "superior double" as we did - it's appears to be the same as a "classic" but for more money! Very pleasant stay. The hotel is down a side street and very well located for all the major sites. Just a few minutes walk to everything you will want to visit. The hotel was in a great location, a short distance from all major sights. Room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a good shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel doesn't have in-room wifi. It works near the front desk but you lose it as soon as you wander through the lobby. The staff were wrong about everything we asked them, even simple things like "what time is breakfast?". I'd rather they said "I don't know" vs giving bad information. The hot tub was empty. We were dropping our bags off then had to return the rental car but when we stopped an attendant from the parking garage next door jumped in our car and drove it inot their garage and quickly parked 3 vehicles in front of it. We stayed in this hotel for two nights and were really happy with the location and the rooms. The staff were excellent- very friendly and extremely helpful. We were not able to get much hot water which was the only downside to an otherwise really good and very convenient hotel.

Borghese Palace Art Hotel is central to all the sites you want to see in Florence. The staff is more than friendly and not only booked my museum tours but went out of their way to accommodate my request for a late check-out. Although the room was small the location,staff and quality of service more than compensates.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang & Service, ganzes Hotel sehr sauber. Perfekte Lage für Shopping und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Hotelausstattung wie auf den Bildern, sehr schön. Einzig im Badezimmer fehlt es an Ablagefläche aber auch kein Problem. Würden sofort wieder buchen. Schönes Frühstück!
