I have been staying at this hotel for about 8 years, and remain a fan. Close to numerous metro stations, very clean rooms and great service.

Stayed many times in Moscow and this hotel has an excellent combination of location, service and facilities. Breakfast is very good in a nice bright room and good selection. Gym is very small - this is my only negative comment

Hotal is good located. close to every metro station. Not so high price for a 5 * hotel and swimming pool is good. It is a pitty that hotel does not provide free Wi-fi in the rooms...

Great location. Easy walking distance to many major attractions like the Bolshoi, GUMS, Red Square, St Basil church, the Kremlin churches and museums, and other major museums including the smaller Gulag museum around the corner from the hotel. The Russian history museum exhibits up until the end of the 1900s. The State Museum of Contemporary History […] on Treverskaya Ulitsa picks up from there to cover the twentieth century and up to the present. (Both need lots of time so mice to be able to get back to the hotel after a visit. And, of course, it is close to other museums and galleries too. Peter 1 is close to a number of restaurants, upscale shopping and several of Moscow's extremely efficient and clean Metro stations if wanting to reach more distant parts of the city. (More people close to the center could speak some English and were extremely wiling to help.) Our room at Peter 1 was very clean, nice bathroom. typical 4 starts hotel, but rooms is like 5 starts, be careful with reservation desk and reception, when we stay in this hotel, reception change everything what we tell when make reservation

Perfect hotel situated near all must-see locations. Very helpful, polite and proper English speaking staff with a personal touch. Diner in the Romanov was very tasty and great value for money. Great location and price (compared to other options in Moscow). Walking distance to Bolshoi Theater, Kremlin & Red Square, major department stores and subway stations. Bath supplies could have been better (shampoo, shower gel etc)

First of all - 3.5 stars at max. The hotel has been opened 6 years ago but even to the Moscow standards of 2006-2007 it is 3.5 at max. Conditions of the pool area is poor, the gym is small and dirty. Stuff is on 3 stars level. Wifi is slow and costs like 30 USD a night. Hotel's car service is also disappointing - was taken to Belosusskaya Train Station […] for 50 USD in 20 y.o. small Ford. Very nice hotel, close to Red Square, to old city and underground. Big rooms, kind personnel and very clean. Breakfast is very good and has very big choice. Minus - Internet is not for free in rooms. Only in lobby. Otherwise very nice hotel.

1) Breakfast till 10:30 only 2) No Free WI-FI in the rooms. You can get internet for quite high payment 3) Air conditioning switched off in the winter so it was too hot in the room and you don't have the ability to control it For this price I expect more services and comfort !

Peter the First is still cheaper than other neighbouring hotels at this golden spot: Marriott Aurora, Ararat Hayatt, Savoy... The rooms are still spacious but keeping the price they gradually decrease the quality of service: cheaper toilettaries, toilet paper etc. Breakfasts are still ok but here they also switch to more affordable staff: some awful […] Russian jam instead of DArbo, no more bottled Pepsi etc. Still the best choice for me when visiting Moscow. There are still issues - wireless charging for the room although free in lobby and I piggy backed on some other free provider from my room but... The room was excellent the included breakfast really worth eating and the position superb. I'll be back!

Conveniently located; generous breakfast buffet; not-so-comfortable bed giving a feel of plastic coating and too much heated up; considering the high room rates a lack of complimentary coffee/tea making facilities in the room and the lack of free WiFi is not a good sign - but still...

Being from the US, I've always wanted to go to Russia & thought Moscow was best. I learned before picking a hotel, that in Moscow, they are very expensive and generally are so so. There was nothing wrong with this hotel but it was more like a 3-3.5 star at a pricey rate. Other than that, all the staff spoke pretty good English, the concierge was helpful, […] the restaurant had a great dinner special and was fantastic, and the room was fine. We decided not to use the metro to get to the hotel from the airport since I read about how confusing it is (no English translations) and the potential of getting robbed. So we arranged before hand with the hotel and paid the $100 USD for a car to pick us up - very pricey but it was a nice Mercedes and we felt safe. The hotel is very close to all the major attractions. I'm not sure I would go to Russia again in the future, but if I did, I would stay at this hotel again Đọc thêm

Moscow is all about location and price- so it depends on the price you get the room for. On this trip the price was a fraction of other hotels around the Kremlin (e.g. a quarter of the price of the Ritz). Ok, it's not the Ritz but does it really matter that much? Lovely, well run hotel easy walk to the Kremlin and Red square. Neighborhood easily accessible by subway from the airport . Lovely, well appointed breakfast with food for all nationalities. One of the best possible locations to stay in Moscow. Very friendly frontdesk (for Russian standards - keep that in mind!). Hotel restaurant is also very good, reasonably priced. Breakfast is excellent. Would stay there again.

I'm an experience subway traveler when I go on vacations as well as in day to day life working in Manhattan, but I will say, do not bank on using the subway in Moscow if you cannot read the language. There is no English in Moscow, and no one there speaks English either. Two things I wish I would have been aware of before I went. I took a train from […] the Airport to the Metro. I had to ask several people where the metro was once outside of the train station. They only understood the work "metro" and he was a police officer. Once inside the subway station, the hotel was only 3 stations away, with one transfer. There was no way to know which way I was going after a couple attempts, I went outside to try to find a Taxi. Again, no one spoke English so it was a lot of pointing and showing. Lovely hotel - small, luxurious and really friendly staff. Just 5 minutes walk from the Bolshoi and 10 minutes from Red Square. Nice rooms - those at the front are (ironically) quieter than those at the back - better sound insulation and now echo from the service courtyard. Wonderful comfortable beds. Food ok - but hey, this is Russia we're talking […] about. Some nice restaurants nearby. But best of all, fantastic Concierge - and we needed it! British Airways twice cancelled our flight back to London meaning we ended staying THREE days longer than scheduled. Conciege fixed us on the new Hi Speed train from Moscow to St Petersburg and then on to London on SAS via Copenhagen. Also arranged to have our bags recovered from the nightmare Domodedevo airport. peter 1st hotel is a very nice and clean hotel and is in a good location,i would suggest staying on the VIP floor as it has its own lounge and is very convenient. in the evening just walk a short distance to vogue cafe and have a lovely relaxing meal,i can highly recommend but as everything in moscow it is not cheap.

This hotel was in excellent condition (apart from the renovation on the lobby, see above). The staff was personable, the guests from everywhere, not just one country. Attractive throughout.

Great location, quite smaller hotel in a safe area that was a 10 min walk to Red Square & Kremlin. The included buffet breakfast was good that is open from 7~10:30 am. Easy check-in & out and key staff spoke good English. Hotel arranged Taxi to Airport, bank machine in hotel lobby that worked with a N. American bank card. Quite air conditioner in room, […] rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and a safe in the closet. Very clean rooms and hotel; live piano music in the lobby in the evenings. Pool & fitness room on the smaller side and in the basement with no windows to the outside. Good value for money and would stay here again. Hotel looks good from outside but building work inside reception meant this area was noisy. No lounge areas means only place can hold a meeting is in the restaurant area. Great location though...

We really enjoyed our visit, and the best thing was the location within walking distance of Red Square, Bolshoy Theater, and the Kremlin.
