HYATT house Dallas/Addison - Addison

I continue to be impressed by the staff at this property. They are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I have stayed at higher priced "high rise" hotels in the area, and this one beats them hands-down. I will definitely stay here again.

Like most people, I like to get the most for my money. But I don't want to have to do a lot of research, or spend a lot of time comparison shopping. Once I found the Hyatt Summerfield Suites, I stopped looking. More like an executive apartment than a hotel room, it's a great place to stay. For a room this nice, I'd frankly expect to pay a lot more. […] The location (near the Addison airport) is in a nice, safe part of town. I can' t think of even one negative to mention. I travel to Addison several times per year on business. The Hyatt Summerfield Suites property is 3 blocks from my employer's offices, making it a very convenient location for me. I've stayed there several times, and I have always had a pleasant experience. Their prices are very reasonable, the rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean, the beds are comfortable, […] and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've stayed at "high rise" hotels in the area, that are also "high dollar," and my experience at the Summerfield has always been better. I travel considerably for business and this trip was for a few personal days off for my wife and me. We chose the hotel for the location and the Hyatt name. I am sure that when the property was build it was a nice facility but time has definitely taken its toll. The staff was great but the rooms were dark and the furniture old and coming apart. You […] could see were water from the bath tub had leaked down the side of the tub and caused mold to form all along the baseboard in the bathroom. Although the hotel is located in an upscale area you definitely felt like you were in a old beach resort in the Caribbean. Our first room was on the 3rd floor but there are no elevators. This room turned out to be very warm so we were given a room on the lower floor. This was much cooler but the design of the hotels puts the air conditioner units right out side your door. The pool was nice but was not maintained very well. The sign on the awning over the door to the office had the name Wyndom covered in what appeared to be spray paint. All in all it appeared that Hyatt had taken over the management of this property and was "milking" it for all they could. We had a 2 bedroom. Very comfortable. Great beds and space. Good location

I enjoyed myself very much. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great, and I just loved the area. Mark, the front desk clerk, was EXTREMELY helpful and nice. He went above and beyond to accomodate us. The suite I had offered more than I expected so that was a plus. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

This hotel wasn't what we expected when we pulled up to it however, the stay was great. It was in a great location surrounded by activity and restaurants. Seemed to be in a good part of town. Bed was very comfortable, room was large and even had a full kitchen and a living room which was a pleasant surprise.

We had 7 places to go and all were within 10 miles of this hotel. Lots of places to eat and be entertained near this location. The suite was completely furnished with kitchen and living space. Great to have frineds and family visit you durning your stay .

Very close to restaurants and very nice area. I usually stay here whenever I visit the Dallas area

We were very pleased with the hotel and room as it had more of a condo feel than a hotel atmosphere. However, the swimming pool was overrun by hip-hop wannabes from the Section 8 housing apartments next door. From 10am until late night, these 'gangsta' boys would roam the pool and parking areas. Four such rap artists encircled my very scared 16 year […] old daughter at the pool. Fortunately, her 20 year old brother was there to extract her from the situation. In another incident, I had to demand that 5 young men get away from our Escalade as they kept checking the doors to see if anything was unlocked. The hotel is apparently helpless to forbid these welfare-enabled Children of the Corn due to it being 'politically incorrect' to deny any underprivileged soul full and total control over the pool area and parking lots. It really is very sad for the hotel chain and for PAYING but unaware guests. BEWARE OF THE POTENTIAL FOR A SERIOUS SITUATION. Đọc thêm

It was a great. Check-in was very quick and very friendly. Very nice rooms and a great location. Did I mention that the staff was excellent. I recommend the Hyatt Summerfield to anyone who is thinking about staying in this area.

This was my 7th night at this hotel - it is great.

Keeping this very brief I will say that from the time I arrived to the time I left I was very please with this hotel! The front desk staff, the clean rooms, nice grounds and great breakfast all made for a terrific stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling for pleasure or business. The price was excellent for that I got!!!

not up to your normal hyatt, but for the price it was great--we had stayed there when it was a wyndham-very good breakfast-great location to lots of restaurants and Galleria-clean and quiet-only problem tv in living room didn't work too well, but we just jiggled the cords on back-didn't report it- we probably should have

I had problems checking in, which they eventually fixed. The iron did not work, heater in smaller bathroom did not work. I killed a roach in the bathroom the morning I left.

We only had one complaint, and that was that the toilet seat was broke. Otherwise, we had a great time. The bed was large and comfortable, the couch was a little hard. Checkin was smooth, all our info was in the system before arrival, so they didn't have to look it up by number. checkout was just the same. It was a little hard to find, the local roads […] are confusing. We almost missed the road by being in the wrong lane. There are plenty of places to eat and shop. Great for a weekend or vacation. We arrived to find out our room wasnt ready. It was no big deal...we just wasted time in Walmart. The room was like a mini apartment, but there was no flat screens like it states on the website. Again no big deal. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. My only issue is that I got home and checked my balance on my credit card to find out the […] swiped my card for a security deposit and didnt care to mention that to me. We had a great stay. The hotel was clean, nice full kitchen and living area. BIG closets. The laundry basket was a very nice touch for dirty clothes. Good warm breakfast with lots of selections including fresh fruit for my two small kids. there is no where else i would stay in all of texas, then this place. we attended the dallas/washington football game. clubs and food were very convient!

When we made the reservation the pictures online make the hotel look fantastic! But when we arrived in our room we quickly realized this is not what we saw in the pictures online. We called the front desk to complain and they told us those are the pictures of what the hotel will look like after the renovations where done, but they postponed the renovations. […] I can promise you this if they had shown the pictures of what the hotel really looked like we would not have stayed there. The room was large and in a quiet location. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked.

This hotel is fabulous! We stayed for a weekend and had an amazing experience. The kitchen was fully-equipped and the bed was even more comfortable than the one we have at home. It is very close to many restaurants and also to the Dallas Galleria. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable travel experience!

We arrived to find their computer system down. Thankfully, we had a printed copy of our reservation. We were given a room on the ground on the floor. It was very nice until we discovered a 3 foot puddle in the kitchen carpet from the dishwasher. They walked over another key to us for a new room which was right around the corner. We unlocked this door […] and found it was already occupied!! We called from this room and someone came over with yet another set of keys and walked with us to the new room. Same layout as the others but just not as nice of condition. The carpets needed stretching and there was mold growing in the cracks of the fiberglass shower insert. The TV in the living room had a dark picture and didn't lock onto the signal for some time. Our "neighbors" were smokers and party goers. They kept us up until after 2 am. This hotel was nice for a weekend getaway from the normal life. Offers a small kitchen and living room to give it that home feeling like your own mini condo in Dallas. If you get a good deal for your stay its definitely worth it and its a nice drive away to the downtown area.

If one needs to travel with children, this is the best option for the money when two bedrooms are required.

i was informed that some rooms were remolded but all rooms have not taken on this change.

It is unusual these days to get great customer service, but that is what we got here...from start to finish. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was ample and tasty. My husband even took info about the hotel back to his boss so that co-workers could stay at this facility when they are in town for training - beats the accomodations down the road that […] were much more costly. This hotel was very sufficient it was really, really nice and the location was so convenient for the events that we had planned in Dallas. It was almost like a small apartment. Using hotel.com made it easy for us to choose because it mapped the location from the hotel to the other events we had planned and the photos that they show on the website were […] pretty precise. The room was spacious and well adorned, however there was a stench that prompted me to buy some air freshner. Management was courteous and a litle too accomodating. They allowed a group of seemingly intoxicated guest to party at the pool (which was right by my room) with loud music for hours.

We have stayed at many hotels in dallas, but i must say this has been the best stay!It a hom away from home.Will stay again

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Unlike high-rise, high-dollar hotels, I was able to park within 30 feet of my door and did not have to take an elevator to my room. Very nice place to stay at a great price. This is where I will stay on my return visits.

Hotel was great! Nice room and pool was great. They also had the best buffet breakfast I have ever had! I just wish we could have stayed longer. It is definatly a great place to stay if you are staying for a long period of time, like on business or a large family for vacation so you are able to cook a few meals. Also got unexpectadly upgraded to a 2 […] bedroom suite which was great. It was like a small apartment and gave my son his own room and enough space to run around in. This was our second stay it is a nice hotel specially if you have children it has bedrooms and a full kitchen plenty of room to move. The only thing we were dissatisfied with this time was the hotel staff the front desk people on check in which was late at night and check out early in the morning were rude. This is a true suite hotel. I like the separate bedroom and living room. The fully equipped kitchen with stove and full sized refrigerator with ice-maker is great for snacking and maybe having a meal in the room.
