The hotel looks great from the outside. nice look, feel, and architecture. that is why we chose it. however, employees are a bit rude if not snippy, very inflexible, and you feel as if you are disturbing them if you ask them a question.. absolutely NO information was given to me at check in.. ( she had her mobile phone on hold and i guess i was interrupting […] a call).. the location is terrible, the mattresses cheap and my back is still sore.. however.. the breakfast brunch was awesome... and the pillows are great... and nice hot water. I am in Horsens on business numerous times during the year & this is by far the best Hotel that I am yet to stay in. The rooms have excellent sound insulation & so you get undisturbed rest. Beyond that, the facilities, the service, the breakfast buffet are excellent & I highly recommend this Hotel.

Hotel Opus is quite a new hotel and has absolutely nice decorated rooms with modern furniture and white LCD TV. Unfortunately the TV signal is still analog and could surely be further improved ( we could help since I am the owner of a company selling IPTV solutions ). I have been asked to do a second review on this hotel.Please check my last one. Things have not changed. Still a great value if you get a good rate on Hotels.com and the restaurant is really good. Didn't have time to hit the buffet so went alacarte...really impressive. Need a car to get to it for sure....Provided theres not a dog show or siomething […] going on while you are there, you should feel that youhave picked up a bargain! We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in your hotel. We were a group of eight and loved to sit in the spacious seating areas with the huge windows overlooking the fields. It was a perfect place to stay as we toured Denmark and visited our relatives.

Very satisfied. We needed two rooms for a stopover enroute to Legoland. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast included in the rate. Easy access from main highway, especially well located if coming from north, for example on the Gothenburg to Fredrikshavn ferry.

Good hotel, nice room and very clean. The toiletries were a bit lacking however for a 5 star hotel.

Very clean, modern hotel. Good sized rooms with nice bathrooms and flat screen TV's. The breakfast buffet has a good selection. Hotel is a bit of a walk out of town but is easy to find from the motorway.

I read some of the other review on this hotel....and was wondering wether they had the wrong hotel!....I was very impressed with everything about this hotel. For Denmark, I think this is one of the better hotels I havestayed in outside of Copenhagen area. Clearly, it is a conference hotel and I could imagine it could be bedlam if you arrive during a […] show, however, I was lucky and there must have been lessthan 50 guest there tops!. Staff were friendly, hotel room was quiet, modern and massive. I went for dinner and had the buffet for around £30....but was worth it! Breakfast is excellent. Only thing I didnt like was that the bed wasa bit too soft for my liking. Other than that and the fact there is nothing nearby without car access.....it was a great stay. Having had a quick check before I booked, this was the closest Hotel that I could find to the Forum Horsens. Its a 10 Minute walk at most from the Railway Station and only 5 Minutes from the Forum. The reception staff that I spoke to were friendly and welcoming, and the room was excellent. A walk into town was around 10-15 Minutes and is straightforward […] enough. We stayed here for the weekend after spending almost 2 weeks in Copenhagen for work. Copenhagen Island hotel had terrible beds (very soft) and it wasgreat to be able to sleep well again and not standing up with backpain. Breakfast was a surprise, mostly all biological products and so very tasty. We couldn't try the restaurant due to two days of private […] party's in the hotel. We were very disappointed with this hotel, we chose it because it is in a nice area and was well reviewed with high scores but now I see most of the scores came from people who did not leave a comment. It is a Conference Hotel and is not suitable for tourists who are looking for somewhere pleasant to stay and the restaurant was terrible and very expensive. […] The hotel is modern and fairly well appointed and clean so OK if you just need a bed for the night before moving on but the breakfast which is included was dreadful so you will probably need to allow for purchasing breakfast somewhere else. The conference guests had cleared most of the breakfast so I did not eat anything at all as the left overs looked inedible. The hotel is a long way out of town, standing alone on a very busy road so we used the restaurant for an evening meal to avoid having to drive into town. This was a mistake as it was both expensive and of poor quality and service with very little choice. We had a set menu with no choice but found out after we had ordered there was a limited buffet available but when asked the waitress said she was busy and had forgotten to tell us of that option. The buffet had been mostly eaten up by the conference guests anyway and did not look appealing. Our meal was not good and very expensive and I did complain to the Manager the next day but he would not refund any of the cost but deducted 2 glasses of wine as an apology when I gave him a long list of the problems we had encountered with the restaurant and the hotel in general. The hotel states there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room but only small cups and no saucers, mugs, teaspoons or milk. There is coffee, tea and fruit and juice displayed in various parts of the hotel foyer but these are for the Conference Guests only, we did ask and were told by reception we could not have it and they offered the bar area for coffee etc and that we would have to pay for it. Great country, great town, good Hotel, apart from letting over 250 DOGS stay there for 4 nights (in the rooms with owners!) for some big convention. I and other guests find this disgusting!

Dejligt ophold, perfekt beliggenhed for koncert i Fængslet. Morgenbuffet i top. Stort fint værelse, meget lidt støj. Et lille men, omkring incheckning kunne der godt bruges en ekstra person i baren, der var noget ventetid.Hotellet kan absolut anbefales.

Gode rene værelser, fin beliggenhed, men spis et andet sted. Vi ventede 10 min på at få anvist et bord på trods af vi havde reserveret, intet vinkort der var 1 husets hvidvin at "vælge" mellem, høj pris for begrænset buffet.

Var der i forbindelse med koncert i fængslet. Perfekt beliggenhed. Stille og roligt hotel, med fine faciliteter og god morgenbuffet. Det er hverken første eller sidste gang vi har overnattet på hotel opus.

Kjempefint, moderne hotell, fine rom. God mat og service. Rent hotell! Herlig veranda. Fin parkeringskjeller. Likte godt at hotellet ligger i utkanten av Horsens by, i stille og rolige omgivelser. Hotellet ligger langs veien inn til Horsens by, men vi hadde rom med utsikt/veranda mot hagen på andre siden, så vi ble ikke forstyrret av trafikken. Hotellet […] ligger nært attraksjonen/museet Fængslet, tidligere tukthus og statsfengsel, nå museum og konsertarena. Som altid var vi godt tilfreds, og det er også grunden til vi stadig kommer. Vi vil helst bo med udsigt til det grønne område, men denne gang var vi på et tilbud, og vi skulle kun bruge det som "mellemlanding", så det var o.k.

Upåklageligt, alt fungerede perfekt. Eneste lille "sten" er at der ikke er nogen salater eller lette retter på menukortet i restauranten.

Hotellet är fräscht och fint med rymliga och trevliga rum, god service och supergod frukostbuffe. Utemiljön var väl inte så spännande, men ok. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på Hotel Opus Horsens
