Great location in Chinatown. Transit at your doorstep. Nice, clean and quiet hotel. Massage/relax center on 3rd floor. Take bus/boat tour. Great experience, good value. Great way to get acquainted with the city.

Room was clean, location was good right in downtown toronto. Only complaint was wireless internet was horrid in the room.

I chose this hotel for 2 reasons : it was relatively close to my sisters place and it was right where I could do all themy grocery shopping it's true when they say looks can be deceiving as looking from the outside there was nothing to write home about.. I located the parking entrance to the hotel off Spadina and parked in the hotel parking level 3 […] and took the elevator up to the lobby. The lobby was nice, bright, spacious and modern! Next to it was the area where continental breakfast was served. the hotel also has a fitness room with only a treadmill, a stationary bike and and elliptical machine(no weights whatsoever) The rooms were nice and clean.(same goes for the bathroom)! The only issue (for me) was that the carpet needed updating-but overall it was a nice surprise! I would recommend this place if you wanted to be right downtown Chinatown Toronto and I would definitely stay here again if I need to be in the area! the bedding and sheets were awful. they were thin, cheap, and scratchy. the bathroom was also dirty. the bath tiles needed a good scrub.

Stay was good. rooms where big enough for 5 guys comfortably. Location was perfect! close to bars and Rogers center. No shortage of late night food.

Had a great time, a perfect location if you like Vietnamese cuisine (which I do). The only thing I didn’t like was the terrible quality of the wifi, but the rest of it was just great. Very nice and helpful staff, comfy bed, clean, impossible to beat the price and location. I’ll be back.

Nice big room. Clean sheets. LCD Tv. Unfortunately - the carpets were badly stained. The room we had sits just below a roof level - so the windows were up high and gave the feel that the room was in a basement. They were recessed quite a bit - with no view. We stayed during a storm and the window area leaked quite badly - Caused considerable damage […] to the sill. When I reported the issue the next day - they didn't seem to care or want to note my concern. But overall - great value compared to other hotels in the downtown core. I rated room cleanliness lower because I saw some cookie or bread crumbs on the carpet. The air conditioner/heater could only be adjusted with a remote control which I didn't find in the room, but the front desk had one. It was loud. We could hear everything our neighbour was saying (don't know if they were just talking loud, or if the walls were simply too thin), and the traffic noise was loud on occasion. I rated the room cleanliness as disappointing strictly because of the bathroom which needed a little update. There were black spots in the grout and dirty caulking. The main sleeping area was large and quite pleasing. The TV was not working properly which we reported but nothing was done. the overnight stay was good; however, parking should be covered with your stay or at least in/out privledges during the day. Pepsi machine would also be appreciated BUT your staff did offer me complimentary juice since I am not a coke drinker and the machine was out of ginger ale/sprite. Desk staff was very nice. Parking is important.

Very unusual but interesting hotel. Located on a few floors in a modern highrise in Chinatown with hotel windows looking out over a food court! It is an odd location, but I very much liked being located so centrally in Toronto and being able to explore Chinatown. The parking was also reasonable for downtown.

The location is fantastic. The hotel was tired and dull. However I would stay here again on account of the price and location. I misunderstood how the parking worked as well. I don't think it was clearly explained. I was told if I wanted to have in and out privileges I would be given a pass to use and charged $19.00/day. Upon arriving back at the hotel in the evening I asked at the front desk and they explained I needed to get a pass in order to pay only $10.00/day. Okay, my misunderstanding. I was then told I would pay $10.00 for the first night and $10.00 for the second. So $34.00 parking for one night. They did remove the ten dollars for the first night after some insistence. Everything about the hotel was "ok" - the view into the chinatown mall, the cleanliness, the breakfast (surprisingly good coffee out of the machine though!).... no cutlery nor crockery provided in the room. However the general atmosphere was cosy and the staff were polite.

We could have used more than one pillow per person. And it would be nice to have creamers rather than whitener in the room plus there was insufficient whitener. The microwave was a nice surprise.

Pretty typical Super 8 hotel. Nice to have a microwave and fridge. The wifi was pretty much unusable the entire time I was there, and they weren't able to fix it.
