Holiday Inn Express Charles Town - Charles Town

this is our 3 stay at the Holiday Inn Express and we have enjoyed each visit. Temperature was great in the rooms, breakfast was extremely tasty. rooms were always clean. overall stay was very pleasant. Will go back again when I need to stay over night.

very friendly people and room was very nice, huge, would love to stay here again.

The surrounding hotels were a bit pricey, this hotel was a good deal for the price. I liked that they had a shuttle bus to transport you to and from the casino.

booked this room online was a little rattled by the reveiws.fling in and got delayed at the airport so called hotel and was told that room would be ready no matter what time i got there.got there around midnight and the same lady i talked to on the phone was still there and she was true to her word room was ready.room was clean and nice !! got up in […] the morning and went to check out the free breakfast and was inpressed food was very good and a lot of it .would stay here again and again Đọc thêm

Great place to stay if hitting the track. Shuttle Bus service makes life easy. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good breakfast served until 11 AM. We will be back

Wonderful 2nd experience with this hotel.Front desk staff very friendly and helpful,room was roomy and clean and odor free.Even room temp was perfect and not dry and stuffy like some.We will be back over and over again:)

I love staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Charlestown! I have never been disappointed.

Me and my wife stayed at Holiday Inn Express Charles Town for 1 night. Very comfortable place, fast and reliable WiFi and hot breakfast. My wife is kind of picky of about American hotels, but even she said she liked the place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out were fast and no hassle. We enjoyed our short stay here and will stay agin. The only minor issue was the VERY firm bed, but thats a personal preferance. Good Job!

Nice spacious room, good WiFi. My sole problem was that they locked out the TV so that you can't use it for your laptop's display. With no entertainment package other than local cable, this limits your options.

Wonderful stay....Hotel is a block away from the casino and the staff was extremely pleasant and generous. Room was spacious and comfortable.

This was such a nice stay at a clean and modern Inn. I really enjoyed breakfast and the proximity to other places of interest. I would stay there again.

After reading several reviews for Holiday Inn, I was almost reluctant to stay a night. However, my stay was great! One complaint I have is that the beds were too hard and the towels were hard too. They were clean though. We had friendly service when we arrived, even when we came back at 2am from the casino. Check out was smooth too. Breakfast was very […] yummy! Another complaint was the noise. Our room was outside the freeway and we heard traffic all night. Wonderful hotel, close to race track and shopping. Clean, great staff! Highly reccomend.

Clean, clean, clean. Very comfortable. Very roomy. Staff was MORE than pleasant! Breakfast buffet was equally as good. I would stay there again for sure.

I had a great stay at this hotel..Only thing I was disappointed with was the smell of stale smoke in the room. Granted it was a smoking room but the smell was awful.Was glad I had packed air freshner.

Our stay coincided with a large convention, so the only room available had 2 queen beds and a jacuzzi. This made it a little pricey for a Holiday Inn, but it was a very nice room - as good or better than any of the Hiltons I've stayed in. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The good: staff were extremely pleasent. Great breakfast buffet. Very close to casino, track and a short hop to Harper's Ferry. The bad: Cleaner than most hotels, but could be cleaner - steam clean the floors The ugly: THE BEDS WERE HORRIBLE. Had the comfort of a brick. But that was my and my wife's opinion. The service was great, the room was clean, a little pricey, but that's okay. My only problem was we were on the second floor. We could hear children running across the floor above us. Excellent. Only 1/2 mile from the Casino/Racetrack. Shuttle service avail to Casino didn't even have to move the car. Rooms were very nice and extremely clean. Continental breakfast was more than expected. Would definitely recommend. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

My biggest impression was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff - Nuff Said!

I truly enjoyed my stay in Charles Town and my hotel played a great part. Everything was excellent...friendly staff, free breakfast, parking, safety and clean room! My only concern was that the remote to the TV would not change stations like I'm use to. But then, I didn't go to Charles Town for the TV. (smiles) Connie, Midlothian, VA

I stayed there because I was playing in the casino for the weekend, the hotel was superb BUT they have the slowest elevator on planet earth haha =P but the hotel, breakfast, pretty girls at the front desk was great.

Shuttle runs constantly yo the casino,breakfast was supriseingly edible and also close to sights.

Location location location, this location is close to everything around that area. 20 min drive to kayaking, canoeing, tubing, etc. 20 min drive to horse back riding with elk mountain trails (awesome folks btw!). 20 min drive to the vineyards Breaux was the best, 2 min drive to the Casino and the shuttle service is awesome. So this is an awesome location […] for a good price. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, Breakfast was good, pool is kinda small but ok, hotel was very clean. i didnt like the lay out of the room, which was very plain and not enough lighting for my liking, TV could be a flat screen, btw who doesnt have a flat screen tv these days :) All in all its a nice safe clean well located hotel with good staff, what can you ask for more! Pleanty of activities around town to do, if your not the outdoorsy kind stay at home and knit dont go to Charlestown, unless your going for the gambling. The hotel was right near the highway and the race track for easy access to everything.

OMG!!! The bed was HARD AS A ROCK!!! The hotel is beautiful, clean, close to the Casino, and the staff was wonderful and inviting. This is a good option for a person who only plans to stay 2 or 3 hours in the room. However, if you intend on a comfortable nights rest, this is NOT the hotel for you! There is a difference between hard and firm in a mattress. […] This bed was hard. We have stayed in many hotels (i.e. Hilton Garden Inns, Hyatt Places, and know what to expect from comparable chains. I was shocked that this brand new hotel compromised quality of its mattresses. We tossed and turned for hours and woke aching. It was so bad that we almosted decided to check out and go home early. best hotel i ever stayed in,in my life.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. The breakfast makes the hotel worth staying in. The hotel was close to the casino and getting the shuttle from the hotel to the casino was so much better than driving and parking. I absoutely will stay in this hotel again.
