Aloft Charleston Airport & Convention Center - Bắc Charleston

Hotel was very nice and very clean. Service was great and close to downtown market and outlet shopping and restaurants. The only negative feedback I have ia that the mattresses were awful. My husband and I could not rest well.

The room was not very clean. Carpet had stains, probably b/c they allow pets. Dirt and dust build up in the corners. Nowhere to really relax and sit to watch TV other than the bed. Refrigerator never got cold. Hallways didn't feel like they had AC and carpets didn't looked vacummed. Staff was always friendly though.

The hotel is a great place to stay and convenient to historic Charleston and the nearby plantation homes and gardens. My only complaint is that the coffee maker was broken and when I told the housekeeper about it she told me she would bring me one back and she never did. No chest of Drawers, closet was about a foot deep ( no exxageration) and actually just a cubby with a curtain over it. Had to live out of suitcase for a week... Chose this hotel for indoor pool. which is small, max capacity 10 people. No microwave in room, refridgerator not big enogh to hold 1 gallon milk jug. Will try somewhere else on next visit. The […] "rough " ceilings are gross. plywood painted white with bowing , and gaps. Not artsy, just cheap. Spend a few dollars and popcorn that ugly mess. Door to bathroom coming apart. IT WAS PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS. EASY, QUICK ACCESS TO THE AIRPORT FOR OUR VERY EARLY MORNING FLIGHT,.TtHE EFFICIENCY OF THE ROOM WAS PERFECT. ONLY SLIGHT ISSUE WAS THAT THE BED WAS NOT QUITE COMFORTABLE FOR US, BUT NOT A PROBLEM ENOUGH TO PREVENT SLEEPING ADEQUATELY. OVERALL WE WERE VERY PLEASED AND WOULD COME BACK AGAIN.

Got stuck in a room different than what we reserved (one king instead of 2 queens for our family of 4....it was the handicap room with no bathroom door and the hairdryer was awful), got moved to a better room the second day, and then a roach landed on me in the hall right before we checked out. I was unimpressed.

The hotel looks rundown, they make you pay for everything and the shower area provides 0 privacy as there is a glass door which is visible from the bedroom area with no way to block the view. Definitely not for families, maybe for couples but still not worth the price.

The first room was by the Elevator room and too noisy but when I called down they immediatly switched my room to the other end of the hall and it was great.

We recently stayed at Aloft for 2 nights and were disappointed to say the least. First the location of the Hotel is excellent. Plenty of parking, and walking distance to plenty of restaurants. However the condition of the room left something to be desired. Our shower head was clogged so a shower turning into quiet an ordeal. The cordless phone was dead, […] which had their been a landline would have been fine, but there wasn't. The hair dryer did not work, we had to request another one. And the television had the worst delay I have ever seen. The lobby smelled of cheap beer, which is not the most attractive of smells, and we went to Charleston for a Beer Festival. Overall it was a great experience for the room rate. Stayed here four years ago when it was new. The hotel was clean and convenient to the Convention Center. Felt the service staff could have been more courteous and helpful. I would stay here again for future business visits.

Front desk was great but when neither the phone or the tv works you see a lot of the front desk. They had to move us to another room. Overall, we like the rooms, the bar, the gym and the service. We will probably go back.

I have stayed at this hotel before and despite the occasional plane overhead, I have always enjoyed it. This time the first room I checked into had duct tape on the walls, a cracked mirror, and the carpets were not thoroughly vacuumed. I booked a 2 bed queen room, was given king bed, tried to call from room, phone did not work. Went to desk and was told booking by 3rd party doesn't guarantee type of room. After saying phone was broken they gave 2 bed queen room. Went to 2nd room, large mirror door in bathroom had large crack down middle. Turned on tv to "no service." Called desk and […] was sent maintenance that couldn't get service to local channels as they were HD/digital and only had analog service. I was told they were "working on cable." Complained at desk again. They were friendly and tried to please and comped us drinks and was given comp breakfast. We didn't want to change rooms for the 3rd time as we had other reservations for the evening. In a.m., went to breakfast 1 hour after start of it to empty food warmers. Decided to go to a restaurant for breakfast. Positives for this hotel were courteous staff, room was clean and bed was comfortable....however, room was very small. Will never stay at Aloft chains. Enjoyed my stay at the Aloft in Charleston. The only issue was the elevator was a little loud and I could hear it all night from my room. The WXYZ bar was excellent.

When I arrived on Thursday the staff was very accommodating to allow me to check in early. The hotel is extremely convenient and close to downtown Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and North Charleston.

Nice, clean modernly appointed room. Convenient to work and services. The noise of the elevator was absolutely ridiculous at least from Rm 221. Insist on a room away from the elevator if you actually want to sleep.

Good if you want to stay close to airport or North Charleston, plenty of shops, Walmart and restaurants close by. Not 4 stars but a solid 3 star experience. Clean, spacious rooms and helpful staff are a plus.

I rented two rooms for my family. We attended a wedding and sight seeing tour of Charleston. Hotel convenient and close to I26 and I525 for easy access to and from Charleston. Cracked mirror, loud AC/Heat unit, cockroach sighting, dire need of finishing ceiling (looked like it was patch together in haste), poor reception at check in or check out, room cleaning service never arrived....etc etc etc.
