It's an ok place to at least lay your head down for the night without paying to much out of pocket.

The only thing I didn't like is when I showed up the room didn't have any towels. Had to ask for them. However for the price you cant beat it.

The room was cleaned up well. The bathroom had none painted sheet rock patches. The beds are too old . I found a kacroach in the bathroom area and had to kill it.

Worst bed ever! So hard my whole left side ached all the next day. The place has junk lying around the building, and the swimming pool needed some servicing. In addition, all the pool lounges were either broken or on their way. The price was cheap, but now we know why.

It is a renovated former motel that is low priced, but comfortable. It has a pool. Most clients appear to be lower income people, but it is clean and quiet. If you are looking for a one night place on your way to another destination, this is a good place to consider.

We reserved a king bed, but somehow they didn't have it in their records. The problem was that the desk clerk could hardly care less and did not honor our request. We wound up with 2 full size. On checking out, we got the same indifferent attitude from the morning clerk. Otherwise, the room was fine. Clean and reasonable.

Pulled into the hotel parking lot and there were hardly any spots left because there were several trucks with lots of workers hanging around drinking. The room had a large king bed, microwave, small fridge and old school TV whose volume didn't work well. Bathroom was nice and big, shower scary hygiene-wise but functional. I figured that since this was listed as a 2-star hotel, it would be better than Motel 6. Not so. My room was dark, the chairs were stained, the rug was stained, and it had the general Motel 6-grimey feel. I needed a hotel with wi-fi, so I made sure this hotel had it before booking. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, had issue with TV and sent someone up twice who responded quickly and friendly, but 5 of us went to pool and were told they would provide pool towels were brought 3 small thin towels and when I requested more was given strange look as if 5 people should be able to use 3 towels and was not brought additional […] towels. Not really ideal spot... but good locks on the doors and location of motel felt safe. Rooms were shabby, could smell old pet stains and our "non-smoking room" reeked of smoke! Beds were clean and as stated... just needed some sleep.

The hotel room was great, it had a small fridge and microwave. The A/C was ok but not really cold. Next door to the hotel was probably the best chineese food restaurant. We used this hotel twice, one week apart, the only reason this hotel did not get a 4 or a 5 was because the pool was realy dirty on the first visit and no maintenance had been completed […] by the second visit. The M Star Hotel was clean and well kept. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We stayed a little late to use the pool and relax before getting back on the road. They had a breakfast special for under $5 at a nearby restaurant so we were well rested, well fed and refreshed from the small pool when we got back on the road.

Oh my where do I start..not clean; TV blew out as we were watching the Olympics and the burnt smell was horrible; the shower valve was broken the place was not clean and it stunk. My husband and I laughed at the joke on us.....do not even think of going here..yuck

Air conditioner seemed undersized: It took an hour to bring the room to the correct temperature. Refrigerator in room is very nice. Pool looked good if I'd had the time. Parking is ample. For half the price of the big names, I'd stay here again.

Very good value, but needs upgrading. Air conditioner worked fine, but missing a couple knobs. For a one night stay while traveling, it was OK.

Non-smoking room smelled a lot like smoke. Lots of TV channels including HBO. Reasonably quiet until the water pipes woke me up with a sound like the horn of a semi truck. If you are a light sleeper, book elsewhere. If you can sleep through a disturbance or two, go for it. Great inexpensive spot for our stay for one night. The room was basic but did have a small microwave and small refrigerator, which was a bonus. The beds were comfortable. The carpet was a bit worn out, but for a spot to rest our heads and take showers it was great.

Great for a quick stop to catch some sleep. Room is about right for a 2 star but the staff were very friendly and accomodating of providing extras such as towels and pull out bed. Room had a microwave which I was not expecting.

Fridge did not work. Basic accomodation. Good breakfast deal with local cafe near by. Near to stores like Walmart, Raley and others Quite setting except for someone who checked in late and played music at 3 am!
