No key for room, so we had to be let in by member of staff! Room extremely small and incredibly hot! Paper thin walls, rickety stairs and landings. Continental breakfast was the worst we had ever experienced. Never again.

Problem was no toilet in my room and i had to walk two floors to go!! I suppose the old adage you get waht you pay for and 64 pounds for this part of london is cheap.

Pros: Convenient location for central London, near tube stations & numerous bus routes. The hotel is located in a characterful, beautiful square, with good shops, restaurants, and pubs nearby. The staff were friendly * professional (it was odd that I was asked for photo ID when checking in: as a British citizen there is no obligation to hold such documentation. […] However, my lack of such documentation did not, in the event, cause a problem.) The "continental breakfast" selection was wide-ranging & good quality, although it would have been useful if breakfast hours started a little earlier (than 8am). My room was clean, had a nice view, had an opening window, was reasonably spacious, and the bed was comfortable, and the free wi-fi worked as advertised. Cons: my room was on the top (4th in UK usage/5th in US usage) floor, with no lifts; and the condition of some parts of the staircase left much to be desired. Also, from this floor (in a non-en suite room), the nearest bathroom and shower was two floors below. Clearly this is a budget hotel in an excellent location in a very expensive city, and on that basis it is quite reasonable. I was looking for somewhere to stay cheaply in Central London for a couple of nights as I found late on I had to work nearby for three days, and this hotel was fine for this purpose. Đọc thêm

After reading the reviews on this hotel, I was not expecting a good stay! Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and we were checked in straight away. We were given a quad room as requested ( it was on the top floor ) no lift, but as we didn't have a lot of luggage this was fine. The room was very clean, and was so much better than I expected! The […] room had all we needed for the one night stay. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. It is not a 5 start hotel but then you are not paying for that. The location is fantastic. Room was small and everything incredibly basic and old and tired ! But the bed was very comfrable with fresh clean sheets and pillow slips for what I paid it was good value for central London and would use again for a basic clean bed

The room we were given was nothing like in the photos. I wasn't expecting the top suite, but this wasn't even close to the double room shown. The shower would not drain fast enough, leading to a fairly swift build up of water. My girlfriend had to wait until this had cleared until she could use it and at the time we wanted to get somewhere quick. A […] man knocked on our door wanting to change the batteries of our card reader from inside the door, which had been working fine for us. I said I wanted to tidy a bit first as there were bags and a few bits of clothing on the floor, bras and all, but he didn't hang about and made a start anyway. Room was clean but small. Bathroom very small and the drain was blocked. Breakfast was poor... Maintenance work as we got there which made a lot of noise. Location was alright. Didn't spent time in Bayswater, but the nearest underground station was close by. Fine Hotel, if you're only looking for a place to sleep.

Enjoyed the London experience , but bitterly disappointed with this youth hostel experience. The photos on the web page are so misleading, you would think this was a nice hotel but it turns out to be a pig in a poke. One plug in the room, windows leaking, rain running through the ceiling into pots on the stairs and bathroom, breakfast room a joke , […] ate up the street instead of queuing up for school dinners. We should have known, you get what you pay for and this is the only consolation, that we could stay within the city centre at such affordable prices. I just wish the owners were more upfromt and say this is a BASIC accomadation, you make a decision to stay here if you wish. Where to begin? We arrived on a late flight at 2:30Am to find a freezing room with the heat turned off and the window wide open in mid October. The bed was supposed to sleep 2 but was actually so small that my wife and I slept with limbs hanging off both sides of the bed and as a result got poor rest. Also room was located directly under the stairs […] and as there is no elevator, when people lugged their bags up and down the stairs in the morning it woke us up. Room was listed as bathroom in suite, but it was clearly an after thought as the shower stall was tacked into the corner of the bedroom (with only a curtain) leaking shower water all onto the carpet. No counter space around the sink for toiletries. Advertised 'coffee machine' was actually an electric teapot with instant coffee packets. Had to unplug the teapot in order to plug in my phone charger. The maid service did not come the first day, and we had to ask for our room to be cleaned the second day. There was no phone in the room. TV was mounted directly above the bed which meant you had to crane your neck to watch it. (ouch) We asked about switching to another room, the desk clerk said he'd ask the manager, but we never heard another word. All in all, a horrible experience and I recommend you don't stay here EVER! Terrific location, friendly staff, great breakfast selection. Rooms are old and showers took some work to manage without flooding. Linen seemed clean but other aspects of room not so great. Great budget accommodation.

change of management in the past few months, so upgrades are still underway around you, (July 2012/Olympics) but all goo and this is in any case a clean, well run B&B in a charming location a few blocks from Notting Hill Gate Stn on the Central Tube line, which puts you in the heart of London in minutes; plus just 5 min walk to Portabello Road Market. […] Great local capucinno/bakeries, authentic pubs and services. The location is very good, I have to say. However, I would not like to stay there again. The hotel need a lot of renovations. The layaout of the hotel probably needs to be changed. The staff is very nice, but that cannot do miracles. There is no Parking, only 4 hours per day and cost you 8£. More that 4 Hours, and you will get a ticket.

The staff were very kind, and helpful. They gave me an upgrade to my room that was a beautiful full size bed with a nice shower and restroom attached. They give a complimentary breakfast, and are very close to surrounding tourist attractions. The only missing was a television but I get enough of that at home.

the stay was very welcoming and a nice feel to the room me and my partner stayed in, rooms were clean and the hotel its self was nice and quite and peace full, not very good sights out of the window but engh sun light, rooms were very clean and the beds were kept well inorder.

I stayed a few nights in a very little room upstairs - and I mean little, the whole room was basically filled with a queen-size bed! I went to my room just for sleep, and for that purpose it was perfect. The linen was clean and there were no bedbugs. Sink in the room was handy. The shared shower and bathroom were very clean. We were looking for an affordable hotel in central London when we discovered this one on hotels.com. It was a little difficult to locate, but the location is convenient to bus stops and subways. The service was good and breakfasts was good with pastries, fruit, juices, and cereal. We shared a bath, but never had to wait. They have one shower room with […] toilet and one additional toilet per 2 floors, plus a sink in the room, however, there are some rooms with bath in room. The rooms were large and the area quiet which made for good sleeping. We needed to stay two more nights and we were able to get them at the same rate we booked on Hotels.com. Very basic stay in shared single room. Need strong legs as no lift to 4th floor. Kettle in room would be great . Nice friendly staff. Shared bathroom is two floors down. Thin walls, could hear noisy next door. Not ideal when have exams

Første ting - der er bad på opgangen, ikke i værelserne (det står dog også på beskrivelsen hos Hotels.com). Jeg ventede 20 minutter på gangen om morgenen, hvor jeg skulle møde tidligt hos en kunde - ikke optimalt. Der manglede sæbe derude som man forventer der er ved hoteller. Der var ingen a/c på værelset og vinduet kunne ikke stå åbent uden det røg […] i igen. Vi var tre unga damer som bodde på detta hotell och alla tre var väldigt missnöjda med rummet! Rummet var smutsigt och vi hade inget eget badrum eller toalett, endast ett äckligt handfat i ett hörn. Golvet var täckt med en heltäckningsmatta som var gammal, smutsig och äcklig, det såg ut som att man inte dammsugit eller rengjort mattan på 70 år! Jag […] måste tillägga att rummet luktade APA! Vi hade en balkong vars dörrar inte kunde låsas! Bör nämnas att det var en gemensam balkong med de andra hotellgästerna på samma våning! Det fanns dessutom ingen Safebox i rummet! NOLL SÄKERHET!! Frukost ingår när man bokar detta hotell. Men vad ska man ha frukost till om det inte går att äta och frukosten serveras i en källare!? NOLL HYGIEN!! Helt sjukt, hur lurad känner man sig inte!! Jeg overså dessverre at jeg skulle dele bad. Og fellesbadet lå en trapp ned. Badet var svært enkelt med en dusj og toalett. Jeg vet ikke hvor mange rom som delte dette badet, men når det var opptatt måtte jeg gå enda en trapp ned for å komme på toalettet. Dette er en svært dårllig løsning...Skal du på toalettet om natten, må du kle på deg, huske nøkkelkortet […] og løpe i trapper, kanskje i to trapper om det første er opptatt. Rommet var trangt og ukoselig. Det var et dobbeltrom, men jeg var alene og hadde forsåvidt plass nok. Jeg vet ikke hva de gjør om det skal 2 kofferter inn på rommet.. Spiserommet var nitrist og svært shabby. Det var forsåvidt rikelig med med mat. Mange forskjellige sorter brød og kaker. Der var også cornflakes og melk, juise og vann. Oppvasken ble utført for hånd, men det er kanskje vanlig. Prisen jeg betalte, sto ikke i forhold til komforten på hotellet. Jeg synes dere bør sjekke hotellene dere tilbyr overnatting på. Chambre bruyante, petit déjeuner exécrable, café soluble, jus d'orange style Tang, pas d'oeuf ni de saucisse . Le service de l'accueil par contre très gentil. Les chambres spartiate mais propre. Pas de parking dans les environs sauf pour 50£ la journée .

Tänk på att standarden på hotellen i England är mycket mycket sämre än vad vi svenskar är vana vid. Hotellet var väldigt nergånget. Den lilla toaletten som fanns var max 1 kvadrat stor. Duschen vågade vi inte besöka.

Jag och min vän tog in där som ett nödhotell eftersom vårt planerade boende var under all kritik. Det är ju inget finfint hotell men man kan absolut leva med det. Det är rent och städat. Det tog ett tag att få varmvatten i tvättstället på rummet, men toaletten och badrummet funkade bra. Det enda riktigt negativa var frukosten. Bara olika sorters bröd, […] som pålägg fanns det bara marmelad, sylt, jordnötssmör och nutella. Fanns inte ens servetter. Men för det priset vi betalade så är jag relativt nöjd. Hotellet ligger bra til med kort avstand til både Circel Line (8 min) og Central line (13 min). Bayswater, Kensington og Notting Hill gir deg mange spennende opplevelser. Kort avstand til Hyde Park for rekreasjon. Kun minutter fra Oxford Street med bane eller buss. Hotellet er nok av de mer enkle når det gjelder forkost og resepsjon. Men store familierom […] og godt trådløst nettverk hjelper godt for en familie. Vårt rom var nok ikke ferdig oppusset. Gode bad og gode skaper, men diverse mangler og en kjøkkenavdeling, som ikke var klargjort, Hotellet anbefales for de som ikke setter frokosten høyest og som synes det er greit å gå via gaten mellom rom og resepsjon/frokostrom. Vi har bott i detta område ett antal ggr förut o i dessa hotell, o detta var ett av de bätre. Typiskt engelskt standard på rummet men sköna sängar.Öronproppar är att rekommendera då det alltid är lyhört på hotell i london. Vi hade ett familjerum som bestod av två dubbelsängar, funkade helt klart bra fast rummet var lite litet. Frukosten var helt ok, […] det man behövde som te, kaffe(nescafé dock), flingor. olika bröd , juice ,marmelader o wienerbröd. Vi blev indlogeret på et lille, beskidt værelse til 3 personer, hvor den største seng stod for enden af rummet under et stort, utæt vindue, hvilket gav en masse træk og gadestøj. Der var jo ikke badeværelse på værelset, men en lille håndvask udsendte en væmmelig stank af afløb. Det lille bord var dårligt rengjort og der var pletter på betrækket af den […] eneste stol. Der var ingen mulighed for at komme af med kuffert eller hænge overtøj fra sig. De fælles badeværelsesfaciliteter på gangen var beskidte og uindbydende. Vi skulle være blevet to nætter og havde betalt for det, men valgte at flytte til et andet hotel på trods af det ekstra udlæg. Vi sprang også morgenmaden over efter at have kastet et blik på det beskidte lokale i kælderen, hvor morgenmaden skulle serveres. Godt, når man bare har brug for seng og bad, og tæt på både Notting Hill Gate Station og Queenswat Station. Morgenmaden var klassisk "contineltal"-standard, og vi valgt på 2. og 3.dag at finde en café i nærheden fx Jamie Oliver´s Recipease, der også laver frokost og aftensmad ;o)

forudbestilt i august til december md.betaling blev trukket af hotellet med det samme i august .Ved ankomst kunne vi ikke få separate senge (to kvinder) .Ubekvemt værelse for småt og 2 toiletter 1 brudebad til brug for samtlige værelser måske 20 værelser .Beskrivelse + billeder langtfra virkeligheden.

In negativo, oltre ad un contrattempo legato al cambio biancheria, è pesata un po' la mancanza dell'ascensore all'interno dell'albergo. Tale criticità potrebbe, in realtà, essere facilmente risolta con il trasporto in camera dei bagagli e del passeggino a cura del personale […] dell'albergo: cosa che ho notato, però, non avvenire. Et typisk low-budget hotel i London, som vi valgte for at have en seng at sove i og samtidig bo centralt. Morgenmaden på hotellet kan ikke anbefales - heldígvis var det heller ikke et parameter, da vi valgte hotel. I stedet købte vi vores morgenmad i den nærliggende Boots, Tesco eller Sainsbury's. Samtidig ligger undergrundsstationen lige om hjørnet, […] hvilket er et plus, når du vil bo centralt og med lidt transporttid til alting.Kan anbefales, når dine to eneste krav er en god seng - hvilket hotellet bestemt havde - og en central beliggenhed. Det värsta hotell eller vandrarhem jag någonsin sett. Kommer aldrig rekommendera det till någon. Läckte vatten in genom taket, duschkabin stod på heltäckningsmatta inne i rummet. Samtliga gäster vi pratade med sökte andra hotellrum. Frukosten i utlovad restaurang höll mycket låg klass.
