friendly helpful staff, good breakfast , comfortable beds, lovely soft towels in bathroom. Only drawback is that front bedrooms are noisy during the night if you like to sleep with windows open as guest house on busy main rd

We arrived before our check in time and found the place locked up and no one around. We returned later and booked in to a very small room with no space for a suit case. We requested a better room and was told this could not be done. ( we were the only people in the place? )The whole hotel was cold and even after getting our room warm the heating was […] turned off at night. This B&B is 10 min. drive or a 30 min bus ride from the center of Edinburgh. The proprietors are friendly and helpful and the accommodations adequate, pleasant, and clean. The bathrooms are a tad small, but such is often the case for homes remodeled as B&Bs. The neighborhood is nice, and the inn is across the street from a major castle and park, Craigmillar. […] There is a nice restaurant next door (but it closes at 8 pm) and a very nice restaurant (Salisbury Arms) about a 5 min. drive on Old Dalkieth towards town. Convenient, just 3 miles or so from the old town. A traditional B&B, small clean rooms but on a busy road so if you have a room at the front then be prepared to juggle your preferences for fresh air (open window) and a great deal of road noise. Breakfast OK, though strictly 8-9 on a Sunday! Overall OK, but next time we will try somewhere different.

Pros: 1. booked in advance online, so got a good rate. Included Full Breakfast and Free WiFi! (normally not included, would have meant shelling almost £30-40 extra on breakfast and internet otherwise) 2. nice comfortable room, good bed with lots of pillows, adequate heating, adequate storage wardrobe 3. nice spacious shower room. Often its just a tub […] in hotels, which is not what I prefer. 4. located on the quiter side of the city and yet on the main connecting road - bus stop 2 mins away with lots of bus services to the city center with travel time of 10 mins. 5. Taxi fare from city center is about £8, with 5-7 mins of taxi ride. 6. Very pleasant staff. We forgot to bring our umbrellas and they were kind enough to borrow us some. Things to improve: 1. the bathroom basin was quite small in our room, so water spilled a bit when washing the face. But to be honest, its not much of a bother, they have good room maintenance in place and everything is clean and spanky. Đọc thêm

駅からは遠いがバスがたくさん通っているので、それほど問題はなかった。部屋の清潔感はあったが、シャワーの出具合が良くなかった事が気になる。それでも、スタッフの方々とても気持ちよく接して下さったので、良い旅行をすることができ感謝しています。
