Four Points by Sheraton Midtown-Times Square - Bang New York

Anyone could get on elevator and come up bc the key security was t working. TV would go out every 3 mins while watching CNN for some reason but that was the only channel that did that. Room was ok but very small

Next door to a parole office and "nudie show", however just blocks from theaters so the location had pluses and minuses.However, bed was the best I have had in a hotel! Restaurant was just a bit below average...staff was outstanding in the hotel and average in the restaurant.Would probably stay there again...

Its really nice... only problem was I felt the room was a bit small for the price. Parking wasn't great. The bed wasn't too comfortable. Good thing we were out all night though! The location is awesome and so was the service.

This is a total rip off its nothing special it's just a regular cheap holiday inn kind of deal. There is no glass showers like the photos show the tv doesn't work .. There is no parking or even vallet parking like they promise. Do not upgrade to city view I was stuck staring at warehouses .. This place sucks

Great hotel with very helpful staff. Free appetizers & wine 6-7 pm is nice touch. Would recommend for anyone staying in New York. Walking distance to all the theaters and safe to walk at night.

Very Small bathroom. Bed was perfect...front desk took forever. 2/3 elevators didnt work for the 3rd floor (the button)...very annoying. Room was pretty. Not a great view outside but it was ok.

Location is across from Port Authroity, two blocks away from Times Square. The blankets seemed to be old and been in use for awhile. Clean but worn out a little.

First off, we arrived early around 12pm, front desk agents were able to provide a room but warned us of an inferior view so we decided to wait and check our luggage first and come back later in the evening for a room with better view. All said, the room we received were on the high floor overlooking Port Authority terminal and part of the TIme Square, […] couldn't ask for more. The room size was decent so is the washroom. One quick thing to note would be the feel of the comforter sets. My friend has sensitive skin so he is aware that the sheets made him feel a bit itchy which resulted in him applying extra lotion to prevent further uncomfortable feelings (on the other hand, I'm okay with the sheets). The gym at the basement has a nice selection of equipments (while we had to get the front desk to activate our key to the gym because our first few tries didn't get us in). The hotel seems to operate with a few other hotels in the same building so don't be surprised. Beside from the convenient location (few steps to MTA-red line & port authority terminal), there's a budget yet delicious pizza place just around the corner. Pretty clean , mostly friendly staff , bed was super comfy , check out is noon. The view sucked and the normal price isn't worth it. I got a deal so it was worth it.

There is only one thing I would change, the faucet. It has a single handle faucet that when you turn to your right to get warm water, the water comes out with too much force and sprays all over. You can't change the force of the water. The only way the force of the water is less is with just cold water. My stays are made even MORE fantastic now that Sheraton is posting SPG points even when you book through the 3rd party sites! Rooms are always immaculate, city view rooms are spectacular, staff is friendly & there is KILLER pizza by the slice a short walk away (on 40th & 9th.) This is Manhattan's best Four Points location, hands down!

Room was clean and comfortable. Small, but not excessively so for New York standards. Easy walking distance to all Times Square sites. Water in shower only stayed hot for a short time. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

no hot water and the room was very small, you could barely fit between the dest and the beds. the heat was also very hard to regulate. i totally overpaid for not being able to shower and be comfortable.

Everything was great except for food service and non working vending machines. When we ordered breakfast we had to get our own Cutlery and syrup. No attention was paid to us in the restaurant, especially in the morning. Also the hotel is next to a Parole building. On the plus side there were lots of police around.

considering its new york still, the room size is pretty small. having said that, it was a good stay and its location made up for any other shortcoming.

Though we didnt spend much time in the hotel other than sleeping, it was pleasant and the staff was as well. We never made it up to the rooftop lounge though, mostly due to the cold December weather.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Every single staff person that we dealt with was nice. We were surprised with the nice snacks in the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. A little small for two adults and two big teenagers but it was still a good room. Lobby was very small but they gave us great service. Would recommend.

My wife and I booked this hotel for an overnight while in the city to see a show. Never again for the following reasons: 1. Upon arriving a bit early, we were told that our room was ready. But when we entered the room we found the city view that we booked was only a look into a brick wall. 2. No valet parking is available and the public lots around […] it are shady. 3. We needed to switch rooms during the night because our walk-in shower wouldn't drain and flooded the bathroom! How can a shower be cleaned if it doesn't drain??? 4. The rooftop lounge they tout can't be accessed through the hotel. You need to leave the place and enter from another hotel. 5. The hotel "bar" is a joke. It is tiny and no bartender was on staff. 6. Our stay was awesome--the staff was very nice--even throwing in breakfast the next morning-- which was very good. The location was great--very close for us to walk back from the watching the ball drop in Times Square. Would highly recommend to all.

Overall, it was a very good experience. The hotel let us check in early on arrival and late on departure, both needed for our plane flights and they were quite accomodating! The hotel itself is in a good location, just far away enough from Times Square to eliminate the noise and hubub but close enough to walk without being a pain. It IS near the parole […] office of NYC, but I never felt in any danger nor did I feel like I saw anyone dangerous. The security is good too, you have to use a room key to enter at late night and to use the elevator at any point during the day. The room was a simple upgrade from a basic Hotel 6 or Best Western, with a glass shower and nicer than normal hardware and bedding. Overall I was really impressed with this hotel. The rooms are not huge, but they have everything you need and they're big enough to be comfortable. The only issue I had with the room was the bed. It is comfortable, but the sheets are made of some kind of cotton polyester blend, so they do not breathe AT ALL. They feel ok, but it is not fun to wake up […] sweaty because your body can't breathe under the covers. I was happy with everything else. The complimentary bottled water is a nice touch, the bathroom has pretty good storage for a hotel (not really any counter space though - I had to set the blow dryer in the sink), and the armoire and and desk/dresser have a good bit of space. The location is also great - there is a subway station on the corner and there are tons of restaurants, shops, movie theaters, and theaters within walking distance. I loved being able to walk to Times Square and have almost anything I wanted right there. I know some of the reviews have said the area is a little iffy, but I didn't feel that way at all. Yes, there is a parole office on the same street, but I never felt like it was dangerous to be walking around at night - and we got back to our hotel after midnight at least once. You will need your keycard to get into the hotel if you come back after 11, but that's not a big deal at all. Overall I would recommend this hotel and probably stay there again, but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice when I go back to New York. Đọc thêm
