This hotel is located in a great location; lots of restaurants, small shops, interesting immigrant history. Staff is super friendly. The rooms are very tiny.

This was a great hotel to stay at for a weekend in NYC. It is close to a subway station that provides access to direct trains into "hot spots". It is also close to Brooklyn so if visiting friends there, it is an easy trip. The hotel is directly across from a club which was noisy if you have a room in the front of the hotel. I stay in NY pretty frequently […] and this was one of my loudest stays. I would recommend asking for a room towards the back- it wasn't that big of a deal for me. Perfect low-cost hotel for a short trip to NY. Helpful staff, clean rooms, Excellent location. Usually prefer boutique hotels, but have no complaints and would stay again, if a preferred swankier hotel is not available at a reasonable cost.

The hotel is what you'd expect for NYC -- tiny, tiny rooms. But, besides that, the hotel was very good. A reasonable free breakfast in the morning, clean rooms, and a helpful staff. I have no complaints. Would stay again.

Right from the start of our stay we received a+ service. The hotel was clean and the staff was absolutely amazing.. we will definitely stay there again when we visit the next time. The hotel was better than I expected. Reasonable rate. If I had one complaint it's that the water pressure was inconsistant. Not sure that really has anything to do with the hotel. Loved the neighborhood - quirky. Great place to people watch.

Peple complain about room sizes and noise, give me a break, this is NYC. The most expensive rooms in the city are tiny and guess what, the town that never sleeps is a true statement. This place is tucked away nicely, plenty of places very close, Katz's Deli is a block away, easy to get anywhere.

The hotel is located across from a nightclub. The music is so loud it spills out the doors and shakes the windows of the hotel. I stayed here for teh first time, 4 days. I woudl certainly do it again. The staff is always available and helpful in finding your way in NYC. The rooms are a bit small, but for one person okay. When traveling as a couple, ask if one of the larger rooms are available.

We had requeste a crib since we were travelling with two small children and upon arrival were told there were no cribs available (any parent of small children will know that this is a nightmare). Good value - tiny rooms I would stay here again however the room was very tiny. There is no room for luggage in a double room. Also Ludlow street is a bit of an oversaturated bar nightmare on weekend evenings.

Tiny room. We jokingly called it our "mouse hole". Breakfast a bit skimpy. Otherwise it was fine. Employees were very helpful and courteous. Will probably stay here the next time we visit our daughter in the area.

I was pleased with the hotel over all, because of the front desk courtesy, and pleasantly decorated rooms. I did complain to the front desk because the refrigerator didn't work, and the bed spreads wear dirty, and useable.

I liked this hotel, and would return again. It was clean and functional, and good value for money. My main warning is that the street gets really noisy on weekends, with all the bars and nightclubs very nearby. I was on the second floor and found I had to buy earplugs to get to sleep, with the car horns, shouting and loud music from outside.
