Petra Edom Hotel - Wadi Musa

Staff was very friendly! The room was fine. We did have warm water at night, but not in the morning. We would have liked the breakfast, it looked fantastic! However: the food was cold, and I mean cold! I think it had been taken out of the refrigerator, placed in chaffing dishes and wasn't heated through.

Very good price for such a great location- easy walk to Petra gates. Easy to park, very willing staff, nice restaurant set up and food and the room was comfortable and just right for us. Very good. Little Petra is worth a visit if you arrive too late to visit Petra on your first day- a 10 min drive.

Very close to the entrance to Petra, which was nice. Many of the other hotels are up the hill. We were served coffee (or was it tea, I don't remember) when we arrived at the check-in desk. Everyone was nice and professional. Breakfast was good, although they didn't start making the omelettes until late the second morning when we were leaving. Staff was outstanding and accommodating, I have stayed at Petra several times and find that there is no 5 star or even 4 by western standards..This Hotel was very close to the Park entrance The rooms could use updating but were clean and comfortable (The hotel is actually a couple of joined buildings with a funky layout but not intolerable!) Breakfast […] was a plus and there were also several restaurants within 100 Yards/meters. Water pressure is very low but that is the norm in any of the hotels I've stayed at here. Positives: Very close to Petra entrance, ideal location really. Good buffet breakfast so you can fill up before a long day's trek around Petra Good price Negatives: No alcohol Promised free in-room wifi service but all that was available was painfully slow lobby service. Building work close by ruled out any afternoon sleeps

Location is great - Petra entrance is 5 minutes walking distance. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Good value for price. Staff was friendly and helpful. (I wanted to make a call, so the lady at the reception gave me her cell phone. Nice gesture). Breakfast was ok.

Hi. The location is good, 200 m from the entrance into Petra. The condition of the room and the hotel in general was not good. I have the feeing that nobody renovated the hotel minimum 5 years. The WC was operating so-so, one lamp ( from two) was not working, the heater had just 3 legs from 4 and so on.... The meal was very poor. Is more-less o'k for […] the breakfast, but not for the dinner. For the dinner is bettter to use the restaurants outside. But the staff was very friendly and they were doing their's best to support us in all our necessities. ATTENTION ! Check the bil while checking out! In my reservation it was written : "taxes included", but they tried tho apply additional 16% tax! I rejected and the accepted my rejection. So, keep the yies opened. Đọc thêm

The location of this hotel is top. The fact that the hotel has been refurbished was a bonus but I'm not sure how long it will stay nice for as it's not great quality so will wear pretty quickly.

La ubicacion de este hotel es excelente, esta a cinco minutos caminando de la entrada a Petra. MUy buen hotel, amplia y limpia habitacion. El staff del hotel excelente, tuvimos un problema con la TV y nos cambiaron enseguida de habitacon. Situation excellente: cette hôtel se situe dans le fond de la vallée de Wadi Musa et on peut se rendre à pied sur le site de Pétra. Les chambres sont correctes, pas de grand luxe, mais le personnel très agréable. Rapport qualité/prix honorable.

Ho pernottato all'Edom per 3 notti. Sottolineo che io sono stato nel periodo di AGosto che coincideva con il periodo di Ramadam (bassa stagione)... poche persone e prezzi contenuti.L'hotel ha il grande vantaggio di essere a 5 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso di Petra. Inoltre ci sono diversi ristoranti e minimarket nei pressi. La camera era pulita e silenziosa […] con aria condizionata. Reception disponibile e cortese. Collegamento ad Internet gratuito anche se un po' lento. Ho trovato una buona colazione a Buffet con una lunga tavolata di cibi: dal classico pane, burro e marmellata e croissont fino a cibi salati (formaggi e prosciutto). Una sera ho cenato prezzo il loro ristorante a buffet (20 Jds se ricordo bene), anche se suggerisco di cenare fuori per provare piatti più locali,con il vantaggio di un menù più variegato. Hotellet har det det skal have. Det ligger super tæt på indgangen til Petra, hvilket er rigtig dejligt. det ligger dog et stykke vej fra byen, hvor der er nogle lidt bedre spise og handle muligheder. Men ellers er det værd at anbefale til andre. Rent og nydeligt, men man kan godt se at det er brugt.

Hotellet kan anbefsales. Værelset meget basic og godt til prisen.Tæt på indgangen til Petra. Hurtigt trådløst internet i lobbyen, der er gratis. Vælg ikke Edom Hotel, hvis du har store forventninger til morgenmaden.

Enkelt men prisvärt hotell nära ingången till Petra. Trevlig personal i receptionen!

The hotel is very close to Petra's entrance but still cheap enough. Indeed, it costs only 1-2JD to get there from other hotels in the city center by taxi. But I think this hotel is worth much. Pros: great location, price, and cleanness Cons: old facilities (e.g., shower)
