The hotel is 3 minutes from the nearest train station on foot. But be aware, that the train station has no escalators, or elevators, so you have to carry your luggage down and up on the stairs. There are not much to do in the neighborhood, but Itabashi is just one stop away from Ikebukuro, which is a more fun place. The room is clean, the bed is enough […] for two people, and have space on the desk. On the other hand it could use some maintenance. The special key holder next to the door was broken, and the tap handle in the bathroom was loose. The footlight under the bed did not work either. A bit more annoying thing that I had to hold the toilet seat to prevent it from closing. The air conditioning system is old, it's basically a fan in the wall. You have 4 levels to choose from, but can't control the temperature. Another problem I had was that after cleaning the carpet was wet in front of the bathroom. Apa hotels are roughly all the same; essentially a bed shoved into a closet, so everything is within reaching distance. The bathroom is tiny, but has all the necessities for a westerner. This one had a great location because it's right next door to ikebukero station. We'd jump on that, ride it one stop, then transfer to the Yamanote line to do most […] of the shopping portion of our trip. A decent all around hotel, one stop from Ikebukero on the Saikyo line. The hotel is small, and not very flashy, but if you are just sleeping there and site seeing around tokyo it's fine. The staff doesn't speak english very well so don't expect them to help you with directions anywhere, also the laundry service is weekdays only, and you have to give […] them your clothes before 9am. Very affordable room rate for single stay in a clean hotel located near the JR Itabashi station.

Even though we requested for non-smoking room simply because we have 4 children, they were unable to give us any room (we booked 3 rooms for 5 nights!) that is non-smoking. The stench got onto all our clothes as the rooms were so small and has no closets at all.

Expedia website advised that Room Amenities include •Kitchenette .Cookware, dishware, and utensils, this is totally incorrect, but was a major factor in us booking this hotel due to personal dietry requirements. The carpet was filthy and sticky, no way would you want to walk on the carpet in bare feet. (photos attached) The electrics by the bedhead […] were potentially dangerous with exposed cables (photos attached) The room was only suitable (if it had been clean) for a one night stay with an overnight bag, as there was no space to leave a suitcase (let alone two) unless they were left in front of the door or between the bed and desk. Only 2 coat hangers on a hook provided personal storage space. The room was not much larger than a broom cupboard, I appreciate rooms in Tokyo are small but with proper design the space could have been made more functional and usable The desk was cluttered with items which with careful planning could have had the TV mounted on the wall, the desk light removed from the desk and changed to a wall light and the water heater and cups on a small corner shelf, thereby providing valuable desk space as no space elsewhere. We are very happy with our 11 night stay with the Hotel. I give commendation to the Front Desk Staff who are very friendly, efficient, and attentive to our needs. Hotel itself is very close to the JR station and it's not far from the main areas like shinjuku or shibuya... (only a few stops away). The hotel was well maintained, the staffs were friendly... the only downside is the Itabashi Station has no escalator or elevator = if you have a lot of luggages, be prepared to carry them down those few steps.....

当日全館電話通じず、たまたまだと思いますが。急ぎ復旧にかかる様子は見えず、見えないところで対策をしていたのかもしれませんが。部屋の洗面部分の冷水蛇口が壊れて回らず、しかし湯船の蛇口を使えたので水は飲めました。これくらいは我慢しなければなりません。パソコン用に二股コンセントをお願いしましたら、留守中部屋に届けていただきました。人生いろいろあるものです。また利用したいと思います。宜しくお願いいいたします。

シングルルームに泊りました。ベッド、シャワー室はともに清潔感があり、寝泊りに必要なものは一通りそろっていました。夜中に大きな声で一瞬目がさめてしまいました。少し驚きました。こればかりは使用者のマナーなので、ホテルに非はありません。立地は、JR埼京線板橋駅、都営三田線新板橋駅が近かくにありました。朝は目覚めもよく、鉄道を使って目的地までスムーズに移動できました。

久しぶりに友人が来たので、一緒に泊まりました。部屋は清潔で対応も感じ良く満足しました。特に良かった点は、先ず駅に近いこと、その割には環境が良くリラックス出来ました、またベッドの寝心地が良くぐっすり眠れました。

Maybe smoking room is difficult to clean. But it seems to be never clean. Example, the ventilation fan of bathroom was covered with dust, the wall was covered with smoke plaque...etc.

Jag spenderade 2 veckor på APA Itabashi och möttes utav väldigt trevlig personal, även om det visade sig vara svårt att kommunicera på engelska så var det inget större problem. Personalen var förstående och hjälpsam och deras service var på utomordentlig. Hotellet ligger i en mysig del och endast en 10 minuts promenad bort så finns det en held del intressanta […] butiker, såsom Kaldi som säljer västerlänska produkter om man skulle känna sig för sådant. Maruetsu är en livsmedelsbutik som ligger precis på andra sidan järnvägen och de har ett jättestort utbud, där köpte man frukost ett par gånger, de har öppet till 01.30 varje dag. Hotellets personal städar varje dag rummen och brukar fråga om man vill ha städning eller inte ifall man inte lämnat rummet vid cirka 11 på förmiddagen. De byter handdukar, rockar, engångsartiklar (hårborste, tandborste och rakhyvel) och ger ut en flaska med vatten. Jag är enormt nöjd efter min vistelse och kommer att försöka komma hit fler gånger! 朝食バイキングがイチオシです。まったく期待していませんでしが、料理の種類がとても豊富でした。パンケーキなどの女子が好みそうなメニューもあったり、夜は豆腐、ゆば料理が美味しい居酒屋だけあって、朝食でも美味しい豆腐、ゆばを堪能することができます。とてもコスパが高いと思います。残念ことは部屋のエアコンが温度調節できず、宿泊した日は夏日だったのですが暖房だったのでエアコンを切っても暑くて眠れませんでした。個別の扇風機などの貸し出しもなく、不快な宿泊となってしまいました。

東京の地理に詳しくないので、駅近くでわかりやすく便利でした。 一泊で寝るだけにしか利用しない状態でしたが、部屋は綺麗で満足でした。フロントさんの対応も良かったです。

連泊の場合毎日清掃及びシーツの交換等してくれて（当たり前か？）快適に生活できます。ただし、夜更かしして朝寝したいときも起きなくてもいいように清掃等を遠慮するプレートかなんかがあれば良いかと思います。

The room is of course tiny, but compared to other hotels in japan, it is never tiny, I think. Services were satisfactory, and the room is cleaned enough. It is located very close to Itabashi station and there are fairly many things around it.
