Library Hotel Higashi Nibancho - Sendai

The location is convenient to the main train station (a 5-minute taxi ride away) and shopping. Had a room in the back of the building which was quiet. The building is modern and clean. Breakfast was buffet style and not expensive, with Japanese and Western foods to choose from.

I was happy to find the service at the Library Hotel to be very cooperative and flexible, closer to that of a full-service five-star hotel than the typical "business hotel" in Japan. In terms of actual services the Library is just as bare bones as anywhere else in it's price range, but the staff's professional handling of the details left my stay free […] from most of the usual stress that budget business hotels often leave one with. The front desk was staffed well enough that I didn't have to wait any of the 5 or 6 times I had some business there, some mind reading was employed both times I needed to get my car from out of the car-elevator parking robot--all it took was a second of eye contact as I approached the front desk for them to run the logic and guess that I would be needing them to run the car elevator, a completely open wi-fi router on each floor (this is a real rarity!), late check out fees were rounded very forgivingly-- little things like these that unfortunately are not to be taken for granted unless you spend ¥15,000/person or so on your lodging. Things like a lack of room service, the as-small-as-possible unit bath-room, the room itself being not much bigger than the bed, etc. these things are unavoidable if you want to spend less. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Library Hotel's service good enough to help me forget the corners that had been cut to get the price down where it was. Looking forward to my next trip there. The location is hard to beat as it is near the kokubuncho entertainment district and not a bad walk from Sendai Station. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in sorting out communications with the airline that had lost our luggage. The room was pretty large by Japan hotel standards and we really dug the decor. There was free wireless in the lobby […] along with a computer that guests could use, so that was extremely convenient as it allowed us to sort out our future travels. ６泊しましたが、非常に快適に過ごすことが出来ました。スタッフの方々はみな感じよく、こちらが質問に親切に簡潔に対応してくれました。別料金の朝食はとても美味しく、十分な量を摂ることが出来て、日中の仕事を助けてくれました。ロビーの感じ良さも空き時間を快適に豊かに過ごさせてくれました。全てにおいて、こちらの期待以上のホテルでした。

駅からのアクセスも良く、大変便利な立地。繁華街にも近く非常に利用しやすいホテル。ロビー・客室ともシンプルなデザインで清潔感があり、大変落ち着けるホテルでした。

私の申し込み方が悪かったのか、煙草の臭いが苦手ですが、喫煙室になってしまい、部屋中（ベット・カーテン等）に煙草の匂いが染み付いていて、なかなか眠れませんでした。思い切って全室禁煙にし、喫煙ルームを設ける方が良いと思いました。今は、そんな時代と思います。

This is definitely one of the BEST business hotels I have ever stayed. Good: The room is spacious and clean. The lobby is nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, the TV is not HDMI ready. I do not watch TV, but I prefer HDMI TVs because I can easily connect my PC to it. The hotel tumble dryer for clothes […] does not work properly. It takes forever to dry. I have used the same type before, and it worked fine. So I think the hotel dryer is broken. The hotel does not provide English information. なかなか良いホテルでした。すぐ下がコンビにで、夜は居酒屋が近く、朝食もメニュー豊富で良かったです。 また、お伺いします。

友人の結婚式があり、荷物を持ち歩くのも大変なため、 2泊連泊できる所を探していました。 予約時は、宿泊日まで3週間を切ってしまっており他はどこも埋まっていて、ここのみ1室だけ空きがあったため決めました。が、ここにしてよかったと思います。 部屋もとても清潔感があり、ベッドも広く、 気持ちよく宿泊できました。また、チェックインしてしまえば、夜中でも入れるとのことで、時間を気にせず楽しんでくることができました。 ただひとつは立地が、仙台駅からだとちょっと歩くので、 重いスーツケースをひいて歩くのは結構大変でした。 今回は慌しかったので、宿泊、着替え、荷物の置き場所として使用させていただきました結果、非常に満足でした。今度、余裕がある時には朝食もいただいてみたいです。
