Hotel Smeraldo - Sirmione

This hotel is good, the rooms are a little bit small but the view of the lake and its location is really good.

We stayed at Hotel Smeraldo for 5 nights in the beginning of August. The hotel La Paul across the street and Smeraldo belong together which is why you can use the pool of both hotels (La Paul has a bigger one, Smeraldo only one for kids). Both hotels have parking lots. Smeraldo doesn't have a front desk so we checked in at La Paul. We got there at 1 […] and were told that we couldn't check in until 2 (their official check in time). Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The room was much nicer than expected (the hotel doesn't look that great from the outside) with everything we needed (blow dryer, toiletries, small TV) and with a very well working air condition. La Paul also has a nice garden with chairs and access to the water through a dock (we never went to the garden at Smeraldo). Breakfast was okay, there was a selection of rolls (pretty dry and hard), pastries and cakes, sausage and cheese, jam, juice, milk, cereal and yoghurt. The items are the exact same every day. Nothing spectacular but sufficient, especially when you want to save room for all the great Italian food :). It is about a 10 minute walk into the center of Sirmione. There are tons of restaurants, bars, ice cream places and a few public beaches where you can rent paddle boats. The beaches areall stone and rocks though, so it's a good idea to wear shoes into the water to not hurt your feet. All in all we had a great time and were happy with the hotel, staff and area. We travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Stayed at annex Smeraldo and got a great room at top floor, very good sized and bathroom was huge! If the room also would included a minibar and coffe/tea making facilities I would give it a 5, for now it is a clear 4+. Great balcony with view of the lake as well. Hotel nella media di un tre stelle fuori stagione. Tutto come da descrizione, molto pratico per il parcheggio da cui si arriva nel centro storico a piedi. Colazione abbondante. Personale cortese e disponibile.

L'hotel offre un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. In particolare, è vicino al centro e con parcheggio gratuito. Quindi si può tranquillamente lascicare qui l'auto e raggiungere sirmione a piedi senza fatica.

Man kann, wenn man möchte, den kompletten Aufenthalt über das Auto stehen lassen, da man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. Es ist zu empfehlen nur mit Frühstück zu buchen, da in der Umgebung sehr viele gute und preiswerte Restaurants zu finden sind. Hôtel plutôt vétuste, d'un confort approximatif, relativement éloigné du centre de Sirmione. Accueil inexistant, c'est l'annexe de l'Hotel La Paule (de l'autre côté de la route). Signalétique trop discrète, difficile à trouver à l'arrivée.

Viaggio sempre con Expedia, la prima volta in assoluto che sono deluso. Servizio pessimo, personale scortese al limite della sopportazione, reception: una tv (vecchia) come portiere, in 5 giorni di colazione non sono riuscito ad avere mai il cappuccino, alle mie rimostranze al personale mi è stato detto di avere pazienza perchè eravamo in tanti (250). […] Noi paganti eravamo in tanti, loro che lavoravano erano in 3 e stressati. Non è stato possibile avere il servizio in camera (chiaramente pagando il supplemento). Non oso immaginare che cosa debba essere questo hotel in piena stagione se adesso per questo week-end erano tutti da analisi. Sconsiglio in modo perentorio di soggiornare in questo hotel. Anche la pulizia lasciava a desiderare, il primo giorno 3 dita di polvere sul televisore (monitor TV 19") dal letto non si vedeva niente! Non andateci! Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen die Altstadt ist in 5 Min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist sehr einfach eingerichtet, das Frühstück ist ausreichend aber von der Auswahl übersichtlich.

Hôtel bien placé avec vue sur le Lac de Garde, chambre spacieuse et agréable, propre avec balcon, calme. Personnel accueillant (réception à l'Hôtel Paul juste en face) petit-déjeuner très correct. Sa situation privilégiée, permet aux résidents de profiter de la Plage (pelouse) sur le Lac et donc de la baignade bien agréable après un long trajet.

excellent hotel, personnel très sympatique, parking gratuit, à 5 mns du centre de sirmione à pied, piscine et plage, restaurant et petit déjeuner copieux et très correct. Service haut de gamme pour la catégorie. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Demander chambre avec vue sur le lac.

Das Hotel befand sich auf der Landzunge in Sirmione so dass es 2 Seiten mit Seeblick gab. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und das Bad sehr sauber. Einzige Verbesserung: das Frühstück mit dem dazugehörigen Service. Zu wenig Auswahl und oft müssen wir unser Gedeck selbst beschaffen. Zudem hat die Dame immer sehr genervt getan.

Le camere sono pulite e accoglienti, se siete all'ultimo piano vedete anche il tramonto! Buona la colazione. La reception è presso l'hotel La Paul situato dall'altra parte della strada. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Great Hotel with a perfect location. Your allowed to use the bathing facilities at hotel St Pauli as well which gives you great options. Hotel St Pauli has a pool which you are allowed to use. One big minus with this hotel was the acoustic insulation which was nonexistent. So if you are sensitive to sounds I do not recommend this hotel.

Il soggiorno è stato ottimo, sia per la posizione dell'abergo sia per la tenuta delle stanze. Avevo proprio bisogno di una vacanza relax e sono stata pienamente soddisfatta. Mi sento però in dovere di segnalare una sola cosa: consiglierei di sostituire, nei letti matrimoniali, i materessi singoli con uno intero. Hotel bien situé,proche du centre de Sirmione (10mn à pied). Chambre au rez de chaussée avec petite terrasse et jardin annexe + vue sur le lac. Salle de bain très petite et chambre pas très propre, un peu bruyante. Parking gratuit.
