The Potters Arms - Buckinghamshire (hạt)

I knew this was a little out of the way when I booked it but I'm used to staying in hotels and fancied staying in a pub/inn. Great food and drink. Nice quiet location opposite the village green. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Short drive to Amersham Old Town for more options for dining if required.

Very pleasant stay on the way home from Twickenham , sight detour was well worthwhile. Enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. Very welcoming host.

Out of the way in a small village, pleasant location, peaceful, good range of food on the menu, breakfast was exceptional Room was clean, Owner was very helpful and made sure your stay was good.Would have no issue receommending, probablly go back again as a leisure trip as good location for a base

We were very impressed with Richard the Landlord ,who went out of his way to type the route for us to drive to a function we were attending a few miles away. The breakfast the following day consisted of everything and more than was expected. We would highly recommend this establishment.

I booked this hotel based on the previous comments by other stayers and I have to say it was not what we expected. Despite booking and being called to ask about a band playing we arrived and the staff did not appear to be expecting us. There was a disagreement with a staff member and the owner as it appeared our room was allocated to someone else. We […] got a room which was cold whilst the bed was very uncomfortable. There was a band on - we knew about this - but the noise from the bar afterwards was too much and we didn't get much sleep. I only stayed the one night but it was very good,pity I did not stay on the comedy nights,usually the last Thursday in the month.Room very clean,full English breakfast excellent, choice of good real ale,quiet village location but pleasant, easily found using the sat nav-no silly tracks or narrow lanes etc. given the chance I will book there again
