The check-in and check-out were done with no fuss. The room was spacious enough for 2 twin beds and an extra bed. Most of the hotel staff speak good English and are helpful. The hotel service was excellent. The food was very good on the buffet both for breakfast and for dinner the seafood buffet. The staff was very friendly and nice and spoke good English. Location is not very good since it is far away from where most things are. However, I recommend to stay in nikko

This is about 2 years old hotel. It's very clean, has a nice pool, and the room is modeled after Japanese's hotels. The toilet has an automatic cleaning system, which is cool. The service was excellent. It's geared toward mostly Japanese clients but certainly anyone else would appreciate it as well. Loved loved this hotel.

The service was excellent and the room we got was also excellent (deluxe suite on 22nd floor with club lounge access). The club lounge upgrade included breakfast, afternoon tea and mini sandwiches and evening canapés with alcoholic drinks (as much as you want).

The Nikko was a really impressively efficient and attractive hotel. The reception is a very calm place and we were offered an upgrade when we arrived and had a very large room with 2 TV's and queen sized beds, the bathroom facilities very "designer". Great hotel, excellent service and staff, however it is a bit of a walk 30 minutes from the main centre but its still a great hotel if you dont mind the taxi or stroll everyday

Booked this hotel in Ho Chi Minh City as part of a holiday to celebrate our 40th. wedding anniversary. Hotel Nikko went to extraordinary lengths to suitably decorate the room, upgraded us for one of our stays, and offered quite exceptional levels of service and cleanliness. For a return visit would not even consider changing to another hotel.

Good hotel, clean, great breakfast (massive selection), helpful staff, good amenities. Overall very good. It just lacked personality - felt a bit clinical, no character and it was very busy. Just not our usual style that's all.

Although not located in the heart of the city, nikko location is actually good in a way that make you feel like home - safe and quiet. My wife and I spent three nights at Nikko recently in a junior suite and were very impressed. For the slight extra cost of a suite per night this allowed us access to the executive floor where complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour drinks were served daily. Pool area was great, as was both the quality and selection of the breakfast daily, and the […] service was nothing short of impeccable with concierge assistance for dinner and tour bookings during our stay. The only small downsides were the relatively hard mattress which was likely more futon style for the Japanese traveller, and location about 10mins or $5 in a taxi outside the main tourist area of town. I stayed for three nights on the executive floor. The room was very modern and comfortable. The staff and service exceeds the normal. The club room had excellent service, food and drinks, and was , as is very unusual in many hotels nowadays, never crowded. All restaurants at the hotel are first rate.

A very nice stay in a club room at this hotel. Private check in, great king size room on the top floor . Breakfast, afternoon tea and early evening drinks and snacks included in the price. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. A complimentary shuttle bus took you to the main sights of Ho Chi Minh and it is a cheap taxi ride back to the hotel […] if you did not want to be picked up by the hotel bus. Nice hotel, very clean. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. The location is off the central area, but there's hotel shuttle. Tried the Japanese restaurant, not value for money, and there are many other better options outside the hotel.

Starters - Hassle on check in. Hotel made a mistake and didn't come up with options to solve - basically "you reserved this but we gave you this deal with it." Coffee in room - pathetic. Local coffee in a sachet and kettle Coffee from Room Service price is only thing 5 star - more than $6 a cup. Comes in a Japanese tea cup and made with a home espresso […] machine. Foam is a joke looks bad and tastes worse . . . but still $6. Fresh squeezed OJ. In lobby lounge great. Orange Oranges delicious. Room service again at about $6 is made from the local Dark Green Oranges. Sour sour sour. Fitness Center - is a postage stamp at about 30M2. It was one of the poorest equipped with a single weight bench and dumbbells only to 22kg. 3 Life fitness treadmills with no personal LCDs and non-functioning heart monitors. Concierge - Called to get a hotel limo pick up at the airport for colleague - took 5 phone calls and I am sure a hand full of brown hair is now gray. I received some items from outside the hotel. My staff brought them in and was struggling to keep them in her hands. The bellman just watched as she struggled and no one offered a helping hand. I tried to speak to the General Manager to recommend some things as I spend more than 100 nights a year in 5 star hotels. Everything was wonderful. Great service, beautiful room and although its a bit removed from the main attractions they offer a terrific, convenient shuttle to and from many of the main points in District 1.

Very good standard hotel, clean, and room service was very good. We had a problem with the toilet and it was fixed within a few minutes, we asked for an iron and ironing board and it was delivered very quickly Staff were very helpful although their understanding of English was sometimes not the best, but we got by without any problems. The porters are […] very helpful and are keen to carry your bags !!!. As we had a late flight out they were happy to hold our bags after we had checked out until we were ready to go to the airport. The hotel is away from the centre of the city, and although there is a very good shuttle, which you have to book in advance to ensure a seat, it is not central enough to walk to the many restaurants in the centre. It's more of a business hotel than a tourist place. The in-room booklet states that men should wear long trousers and shoes when in the lounge or restaurant areas, although this isn't always followed. Top hotel, very laidback and very quiet....a big plus. The shuttle was very handy to get into the centre even if the taxi fares are cheap. The Club breakfast could be improved, preferred the main one. Looking at Nikko Bali on the strength of our stay here.

Everything was of the highest class. We especially enjoyed the Japanese style toilets, and the pool on the roof - perfect for such a hot and humid city with so much traffic!
