overall hotel was very comfortable. Rooms were well designed and pool area was great. Only downer was the food. For the price highly recommend heading out.

Excellent modern hotel in stunning location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only minor criticisms. In main restaurant the house wine is not very good and is definitely overpriced.. This is surprising as Turkish wine can be excellent.

The season finishes at the end of October so when we arrived at the beginning of October, it was evident that everyone was tired, weary and we felt like a hinderance rather than guests. Female staff could smile, most of the male staff were long-faced and could not even raise a 'Good morning'. This is not a 4.5 star hotel. There are no tea or coffee […] making facilities in the rooms, we had to ask for a top sheet for the bed, for wine glasses, for stationery, no lighting in the corridors when we got up early to take a day trip, no shuttle bus to the town, very expensive food and drinks, a la carte restaurant lacking dreadfully, no chilled white wine, no fresh vegetables, no choice of potato - just 'mash'. Instant coffee served for breakfast. We were advised that the General Manager would contact us but during our 7 day stay, he made no approach to us. If you want anything at all, you have to ring room service, there are no ice machines, dogs barked all night, we asked for a non-smoking room and got a 'smoking' room. The Grand Yazici Hotel Bodrum, is a beautiful hotel, situated in the mountains above Bodrum, giving it magnificent views over Bodrum town, castle and harbour. Good selection for breakast buffet and the bar and restaurant offers a reasonable menu although the wine is expensive as it is every where in Turkey. Staff were OK. Aside from one waiter, most of the F&B staff were not friendly or provided good service but unsure if poor service or poor English. The service provided was more 3 star than 5 star. Overall the hotel is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and pool facilities and a lovely place to relax and chill out in the sunshine. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The spa was excellent and the treatments were good value. The location was good and it is very quick and easy to get to the centre of Bodrum. We plan to return next year.

Great hotel & staff. Good breakfast choice. Can walk in to bodrum (20 min walk). Nice pool and facilities. Drinks and food are expensive in the hotel but always are.. Nice views from the pool.

An amazing hotel! I would stay here a million times more! The swimming pool is absolutely exquisite! The view from it is spectacular! The spa was very nice, the spa rooms not so much but the staff absolutely fantastic. Again, as it seems to be all over Turkey, we had a balinese massouist and she was great! The spa pool is quite beautiful but did not get a chance to jump in. The hotel is about 15TL from the center of town. Lovely poolside facilities. The rest was a little underwhelming. The staff were a little distant, smiles were rare. Occupation levels were a bit low even at the end of July, which meant a lack of atmosphere but a very quiet poolside. The bed linen was below 5 star quality

When we asked why, they told us we ordered it and that we signed for it. It is close to bodrum center. Very nice, comfortable rooms. Gym and spa area is great. The breakfast was suberb.

Great hotel! Well kept with a fantastic pool and gym. The hotel was not completely full so all the pool beds were available and you did not have to wake up early to get a spot. Pool, Ausstattung, Lage, Spa: alles erstklassig. Lage oberhalb Bodrum super, traumhafter Ausblick, Fußweg Zentrum 15 min problemlos da bergab, Rückweg bergauf besser mit dem Taxi. Essen qualitativ echt gut, Preis-Leistung akzeptabel, Getränke waren aber deutlich überteuert (einziger Kritikpunkt).

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Grand Yazici gefallen. Das Personal ist nicht nur freundlich sondern herzlich - was übrigens von allen Menschen die wir in und um Bodrum kennengelernt haben, gesagt werden kann. Wir haben diese echten Begegnungen sehr geschätzt. Die Zimmer waren in perfektem Zustand und wurden täglich perfekt gereinigt. Das Essen im Hotel hat […] uns nur teilweise überzeugt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zwar riesig aber nicht besonders abwechsungsreich. Vom Hotel ins Stadtzentrum braucht man zu Fuss 10 Minuten, der Rückweg dauert länger, weil sehr steil.
