Cairo City Center Hotel - Cairo

Location of hotel and staff were okay. When we got to the room all that was available was a bed, lamp and very old small TV. No facilities to make tea or fridge. The bathroom size was reasonable. Had to clean the toilet and shower before use. Toilet had no toilet seat and the lid kept coming off. Got toilet seat once asked which did not sit on the toilet […] properly. Did not clean the room in the 9 day stay or change sheets or towels. One roll of toilet paper provided. Breakfast served between 8-10am in a common area. Tea, 2 x white bread rolls, one boiled egg, one serve of processed cheese and some strawberry jam, was provided, very average. Room service for tea and coffee available and reasonably priced. There was a lift, old fashioned one, to get to hotel. If other uses in the building did not close the doors properly lift not work. Have to walk up or down 6 levels. I couldn't stay there again. My room was not comfortable, and in a state of disrepair. There was gum on the sheets of my bed and the other bed wasn't much cleaner. The staff was very friendly and the location was great. I just prefer a higher standard of room so I checked out and went to a different hotel

GREAT location - City Center, just like the name of the hotel indicates. Just a few blocks (and certainly walking distance) away from the Egyptian Museum, the beautiful Zamalek island with its opera houses and art galleries, the Tahrir Square and all of the city restaurants and shops. On the other hand, you'll save a lot on cab fare if you stay here as a lot of the Cairo's gems are within a safe walk. AMAZING staff - very courteous, helpful and accommodating. We booked all of our trips and drivers through them (instead of booking them ahead of time sight unseen) and it turned out great: our driver was awesome and very accommodating, all tours were very safe and reasonably-priced. Our hotel staff answered all questions, made us maps and gave great sightseeing and dining tips. I felt very safe as a woman with a lot of female staff. The room was decent and the price was great. Don't expect western luxuries - they do exist in Cairo, but you will pay four times as much as what you would pay here. Personally, I did not go to Cairo for its posh hotels. The minimal amount of time I actually spent in my hotel room was comfortable enough and the price allowed me to afford more tours and trips. The staff was helpful, patient, and friendly. The room was clean when I entered, but no one ever came to take out garbage or tidy up until (presumably) after I left. The price (3 pounds per article) seems high, especially for Egypt, so I would advise getting laundry done elsewhere. The location is near Midan Talaat Harb and the Egyptian Museum, so it's quite easy to use the Sadat metro station as a home location from which to travel. The internet worked well for the first few days but was completely out for a good portion of my final days at the hotel. I had a good driver arranged for me when I wanted to do a pyramid day in Giza, Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis, and the hotel was kind enough to let me store some bags while I left for some days before returning to check in again. The staff could not have been more friendly and inviting to me. Some of the staff members actually took personal time to show me around Cairo and to help me understand the local culture and hot spots and where to get the best deals on souvenirs. In general you get what you pay for. Staff are friendly apart from the male receptionist at night shift who was extremly rude and impolite. location is excellent. Don't expect much for the price you are paying but still satisfactory. Definetly not for families!

The hotel is located very close to the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square - excellent location. The reception staff all spoke good English and generally gave useful tips. Depending on who is working they may try a little too hard to make you interested in tours such as Nile cruises - I suggest you shop around instead.

This hotel is true value for money. Not very expensive but don't expect so much from them. The hotel staff is very nice and always with smilling face. Personal gibt sich zwar Mühe, hat aber keine Ahnung, worauf es in einem Hotel ankommt. Um 20 Uhr war kein Zimmer für mich vorbereitet. Nach 15 Min. bekam ich mein Zimmer. Leider war Toilette nicht gereinigt. […] Ich beanstandete das, kurz danach waren Kotreste im Klo beseitigt, Brille aber noch voller Flecken. Ich beanstandete auch das, nun wurde die Brille gereinigt. Da war das übliche Schild "Bitte Klopapier in den Korb tun." Kein Korb da. Nach der dritten Beanstandung kam ein Klopapierkorb, nach der vierten auch Handtücher. Klobürste gab es auch nicht, aber der Brauseschlauch reichte bis zum Klo. Von allein wird der Klopapierkorb nicht geleert, nur wenn man darum bittet. Zwei Kakalaken pro Tag in meinem Zimmer, sonst kein weiteres Ungeziefer. Zum Frühstück jeden Tag exakt dasselbe: 2 längliche Brötchen (Dauerbackware) 1 Riegel Schmelzkäse, 1 abgepackter Becher Marmelade, 1 gekochtes Ei, 1 Kraftriegel (sehr süß und sättigend), wahlweise 1 Becher Tee oder Kaffee, weiteren Tee oder Kaffee gegen Bezahlung, aber preiswert. Mir wurde Hilfe bei der Organisation von Ausflügen angeboten, aber dezent, nicht aufdringlich. Da ich davon keinen Gebrauch machte, kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Die Fahrt zum Flughafen organisierte das Hotel gegen Gebühr, der Taxifahrer des Hotels war sehr nett. Đọc thêm

考古学博物館のすぐ近くでとても便利な立地で移動しやすいです。 部屋も綺麗で快適。清潔で文句ありません。 カイロにたくさんある中レベルのホテルの中ではかなりレベルが高い方ではないでしょうか。 ただ一つ気になったのは、ホテルに着いて初日にクタクタだったのにツアーの勧誘がしつこかったこと。まず部屋に案内してほしかったです。 でも、ホテルスタッフはいい人多かったのでまた利用したいです。
