The room was fine, though could have done without the puce pink bed throw and pink painted wardrobe panels. Also disappointed with fiddly, tiny sachets of shampoo. Otherwise our stay was extremely enjoyable. We had a fabulous circular walk from the hotel, assisted by a map provided by the management. Friendly and Comfortable with a clean room. Food was good.

Excellent stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food excellent. Just one small comment. Stayed in room 2 and although the radiator was on the room was very cold at all times of the day. All in all a lovely break and will recommend to friends.

We stopped at the hotel and had a wonderful time. The room was lovely and the food fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful.

Nice area, rooms need redocorating - which is happening over the xmas period. Rooms were quite cold.

Pleasantly surprised, very freindly with good atmosphere. I was on an overnight busness stop and arrived late, so I can't really comment on family use etc. It would certainly suit couples. The decor is typical of an old village pub and was clean and fresh looking, however I overheard the locals saying it will be closed for decorating in Jan. Hopefully […] it will retain the original feel with the expoosed beams etc. Dinning area was spacious, clean and well organised. breakfast was ample and good, Next time, I am in the area, I would certainly use again. Excellent . Good food friendly helpful staff. Rooms could be improved by being a little warmer, but all in all very enjoyable and would not hesitate to reccommend to others, Sure to return.

There are new owners at this hotel, they are very professional. The food is excellent with attention to detail and great presentation. Carol the owner made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend the Pheasant to anyone.

We found the location ideal for our visit to the Lakes and our double room along with our friends kingsize room were upto 5 star rating . The quality of the staff was exemplary and we were all made to feel at home at any time of the day. The fact that the owners had only recently taken over (3 days) did not detract from the service and we wish them […] well in the future. We would, without any hesitation, highly recommend this hotel to both friends and strangers.We only ate once in the restrauant and it was well worth the experience. In conclusion we will be returning and we look forward to seeing how the owners have stamped thier personalities onto the hotel Đọc thêm

A pleasant hotel, staffed by charming and helpful people. We arrived very late, 11.00pm, but were received in a friendly way. We were at the hotel for less than 11 hours. The rooms are quite old-fashioned, but that is in keeping with the hotel. Beautiful views. Good breakfast. Priced appropriately. We would stay there again.
