I loved Port Said and thought it would be cool to stay where I could watch ships come and go through the Suez Canal. The photos on the various websites... make this hotel out to be better than it actually is. To be fair, the pool area is nice and if the temperature was warmer I would have loved to use the facility. The restaurant was good for breakfast the next morning. However, the carpets in the hallways and rooms need to be replaced as well as the furniture in the rooms being worn out. You have to be careful about mosquitos but at least the hotel put a can of bug spray in each room, so they are aware of the problem. I loved Port Said and will be going back there for a future holiday but it's highly doubtful I will stay in this hotel again.
