Draper's Hall - Shrewsbury

The hotel is wonderful, Very old and historic, dont think I have stayed anywhere this old, but very comfortable. The only probelm is parking in the area is a nightmare and costly. The only thing that the room was short of was tea bags! I am not a coffee drinker, there were great coffee making facilities, even a caffetiere, but no tea bags! Interesting hotel, but not my style. I do not think it should be designated as5 star. Hotel staff very helpful and food good but not gourmet

The hotel, staff and rooms were really, really nice. We had a lovely night and a terrific breakfast to start the day. It is right in the centre of Shrewsbury and easy to get anywhere you require.

This was an excellent hotel & a great find. A historic building with lots of history to explore in very pleasant surroundings just off the main shopping centre. Very quiet & peaceful. Parking available at the rear, (request this when you book as spaces limited) but ample parking in the shopping centre car park a few feet further.
