"Staff really helpful and friendly. We arrived early and man on reception sorted out our parking for us; fortunately there were plenty of space’s available on the road outside of the hotel. We checked in later that day. Room was a good size with large bathroom. No bath but lovely rain shower. Tea and coffee provided along with 2 bottles of water. Breakfast was plentiful with choice of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, fruit juices, cheese, meat, bread etc; hot food was cooked to order. Staff...

"Lovely large room facing river. Arrived just as a wedding party had arrived for reception, however staff brilliant and helped us check in super quick. Parking close and can purchase from hotel for 4pm to 10am which significantly cheaper. Breakfast lovely too, will definitely stay again. Great nights sleep as not as noisy as other hotels. "We booked the same day for 4 of us. Fantastic hostess, Farrah. My cousin and our Mothers, my cousin is pregnant so Farrah gave me a seperate room next door so we had 2 bathrooms at no extra cost. "Great location, attentive staff. The building is really old and floors uneven, gaps in door frames add to its unique charm. Cathedral right in back and Evensong is recommend to hear the organ and choir. Bell ringing practice is Thursday night and goes on for some time. I had a great stay!"
