"This is our second stay at the hotel. We had a four poster room which had a lovely large room filled with antique furniture. Lovely large bathroom. Check in and out was very quick, friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and all staff very helpful and professional. Definitely would return and recommend this great location hotel "

"We enjoyed a very nice dinner in the bistro, after a relaxing spell in the sauna and pool. Just a one night stay but all good. Needs a bigger restaurant and additional coffee station at breakfast. Staff lovely."

"Cleaning in the room was not great. We arrived to a dressing table covered in biscuit crumbs. After using coffee cups and rinsing in the bathroom, we found them back next to the kettle tray, but dirty with dried coffee stains in the bottom. The hotel itself is ok, it’s an old building so will have the quirks that go with that, however maintenance could be better, we have a couple of lamps with no bulbs, struggled to open and close the window. "2nd time I’ve stopped here and it’s still ticks all the boxes. Excellent service all round. I did not have dinner but was very popular. check in, pre check in info and breakfast service was very good. The room was spacious, nicely equipped and comfortable."
