"We had a fantastic time at Alunan and really glad we booked here for half our stay on the Perhentian.
Room - Spacious and very clean, having the deck upstairs is also a really nice touch
Food - Probably the best food we ate on the Perhentian islands, both western and Malay options availabl. It is slightly more expensive but worth it in our opinion. Breakfast with the room was also great, fresh roti canai were really nice.

"We arrived and they gave us free cold water to welcome us. Everything was clean, each room has a desk and is comfortable. We stayed the first nights in a room with AC and fan and the last night in a room with just fan. Both were clean and nice and because of the weather (it rained during a couple of nights) we didn’t even have to use the AC. From Tropicana Inn it is possible to reach Long

"Amazing hotel with great location. Two beaches nearby, nice pool areas, and very friendly staff. Short walk to other parts of the island.
The food is good, but not amazing and therefore quite overpriced. It's also a long waiting time to be served at the main restaurant.
The staff is friendly, however sometimes seem a bit distant and not observant, but all in all, the service is very good.

1. No wifi and no reception (4G / 5G) coverage from my sim card in the room. I could not do anything in my room, had to go to the reception / restaurant area every time I needed to check anything.
2. Food in the restaurant was just horrible. I could not understand how a location in Malaysia could possibly make things like fried...
