The check in process was very easy . It was quiet and enough space for my family of 5 . Upon arrival my son was going to sleep on the sofa bed but it was broken so he ended up just sleeping on the couch . The second room had curtains to block everyone out one of the curtains was hanging out of the ceiling. The shower only had one shower door which wasn’t terrible as it was a waterfall shower but still awkward. There were a lot of nice little shops and places to eat in walking distance. The apartment building was very quiet and we loved the rooftop area to wind down after a long day of universal studios and exploring the area. I loved that the apartment was fully furnished so we were able to feel at home. We have already decided when we come back to LA we will be booking again! I highly recommend this place for next vacation stay.

Only if you're on a tight budget
The selling point for abode is its relatively low price for the area, but it makes up for that with a real pain in the butt check-in (plan for it to take multiple days of back-and-forth emails and for the website to be glitchy) and a less safe stay. There is no on-site concierge, and we were frequently tailed or blocked from entering by homeless folks on the street. Our final morning, we walked out the front door to a pile of feces. The interior of the apartment was overall acceptable and sanitary, but run down. The washer was moldy, the dryer was broken, most of the electrical outlets didn't work, the bedroom slider door was off its tracks so it couldn't close, and the sleeper sofa was so scratched up that you couldn't sit on it without acquiring little shards of black pleather. The kitchen and bathroom were updated, however, and easy to use. If given a do-over for this business trip, I'd have gone with one of the more expensive area hotels or cabbed in from something farther away.

Decent stay in Downtown LA
Decent place to stay near Downtown LA. The house was good with a complete self check in process. The instructions were clear, but it's important to provide the identity information ahead of your stay to ensure a smooth check in. The house was very clean however the place had a strange smell(possibly from the cleaning liquids used by the cleaners) which went away the 2nd day onwards.

The inside is very nice and comfortable with a living area, kitchen and etc. It was clean and well stocked. Had trouble finding it from the outside as it looked like the front door was for some place else or the bldg was nonexistent. Walked by the door multiple times before finding it.

Hidden Gem if you don't mind a little grittiness
I love this place. I feel like it is a hidden gem in downtown LA. I frankly was hesitant to give it a rave review because I want it to be available every time I go to LA but I have to give credit where it's due. If you don't mind a little grit- it can get sketchy at night and the alley behind the building can get a little spicy. However, the apartment itself, the rooftop and the amenities downtown are all worth it. The parking attendant next door, Cliff, is also one of the coolest humans you'll meet.

Do not be mislead by the pictures of the nices bars, lobby, front desk. Check google street view and see foryourself. The building is full of graffiti, broken windows, place is not safe, smells bad, and you might get robbed when getting there. Still waiting for my refund as I did not stay there. Complaint will follow.

The space is very nice, well furnished (maybe some side lamps should be helpful and pleasant, especially if you wake up at night and have to move in the bedroom ) , it offers privacy for everyone and the kitchen provides everything you need. We found some problems in dialing our code for entering the house at our arrival, but the staff by phone was very helpful and ready to solve the problem. Unfortunately the dialer was out of charge and in a few days we had problems again, but they solved the problem in a few hours. The shower was a little bit tricky in its functions , it should be updated. The neighbourhood isn't so safe and clean , but this issue regards all downtown, I suppose... But in any case, we enjoyed our stay.

too complicated and stressful
The check in process was very very stressful as I had to provide information at the last minute. I felt life i was treated as a potential suspect. I had to fill out all bunch of forms, send a copy of my credit card, send a copy of my driver license and picture of my HOLDING my driver license. I had to call them management team many times to get everything correctly and they charged me extra $60 for a quest who was visiting us during the day.

Despite having a really good response time to emails, any issues cannot be handled right away if at all. There is no person on site to help. Heads up, you will be locked out if not completely out by your checkout time.
