Big rooms, welcome minibar once for the stay, close to few restaurants and the U bahn. Apart from these there really isn’t any positive to the hotel. Basic breakfast and service (not even an electric kettle in the room).

Wir haben ein Musical besucht und im Dormero geschlafen- Tolles Zimmer. Einziger Wermutstropfen. Sonntag morgens um ca. 8 Uhr ging der Feuermelder an. War eine Wartung. Am Sonntag morgen :-( Blöd.

Erwartungen weit unterboten
Hotel mit großen Ambitionen, die bis auf die engagierten Mitarbeiter, nicht erfüllt wurden. Zimmer sind groß, erinnern allerdings an ein Krankenhaus. Kein Charme, keine Wärme. Heizung im Zimmer ging nicht, es wurde wortlos ein Lüfter bereit gestellt. Warum wird das Zimmer vermietet? Passend dazu ging der Fernseher nicht, WLAN auch nicht. Möbel abgewohnt. Dieses Hotel war bereits vor 10 Jahren renovierungsbedürftig. Ein Detail zeigt dies sehr deutlich: die Löffel zum Frühstück sind sogenannte "Soßenlöffel", die ich 1983 im Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten und während meiner Ausbildung in einer Hotelfachschule zuletzt gesehen habe. Wer hat diese ausgegraben? Für ein Müsli zu flach. Normale Löffel gab es nicht. Hier wird aus Altmetall Geld gemacht.

Erwartungen nicht erfüllt
Check-in und check-out waren unkompliziert, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war zwar geräumig, aber ungemütlich. Das Bett war für einen nicht großgewachsenen Menschen zu hoch. Die bunte Beleuchtung im Zimmer ist absolut unnötig, teils geschmacklos. Bei Ankunft und Betätigung des Lichtschalters leuchtete das Zimmer in rot. Ich dachte, ich bin im Bordell gelandet. Sehr laut, obwohl ich um ruhiges Zimmer gebeten hatte (Straßenlärm) und im Hotel kaum etwas los war. Der Zimmerservice kam ohne Anklopfen ins Zimmer, während ich auf der Toilette saß. Auch rund um das Hotel war total tote Hose, die Lokale waren meist zu. Eine Frechheit war die Gebühr für die Tiefgarage. Statt einer Ermäßigung für Hotelgäste wollte man an der Rezeption 20€/Tag statt der regulären 16€/Tag am Automaten der TG. Eine erfreuliche Ausnahme bildete das Frühstück: Sehr lecker und nahezu alles reichlich und von guter Qualität !
