Tony and Julia were the perfect hosts. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Special thought was given in the type of tea and coffee that were in the room and even the homemade cake was just perfect. Breakfast definitely deserves a 20 out of 10. Just superb. Special mention to the Compote… this was amazing.. and homemade too. Our weekend was perfect.. thank you Julia and Tony for your wonderful hospitality… we will definitely visit again. 😊

Outstanding - world-class breakfast.
A great discovery. The breakfast in particular is the sort of thing I'd expect at the Ritz. The hosts are great people too. Probably the best B and B I have stayed in.

I couldn't be more pleased with my two -day stay at the Old Posthouse. Julia and Tony are excellent hosts who do everything they can for their guests. Their friendliness and attention to detail makes the guests' experience second to none. I would happily recommend The Old Posthouse to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in the Lincoln area.

Highly recommend
Owners very friendly and offer a excellent range of options at breakfast. Understandably they request guests to remove shoes before entering their rooms, which we found not an issue.

Great stay
Enjoyed our stay. Helpful tips and OS map of the area in the hallway. Borrowed some guides. Pub a few doors down which is useful when arriving late. Great breakfast with many options.

The quiet High Street!
The B and B was lovely, the hosts are amazing, no complaints. The breakfasts are fabulous. The location is not in Market Rasen but in a little village about 11 miles away.

Wonderful, please stay here
We had a wonderful one night stay, what a find! We fully echo the other positive reviews which are so richly deserved. Fantastic friendly, warm and welcoming service...comfortable, spotless rooms with everything you could need... and a delicious locally sourced breakfast. The owners have thought of everything and deliver it perfectly. Thank you for the lemon drizzle cake (a lovely bonus in our room when we checked in).

Like staying with family
We stayed here for 3 days to go to the BSB at Cadwell Park. We were met on arrival by the hosts and after a quick check in we were shown to our room. We had a separate bathroom across the hall and had bathrobes supplied, on the plus side the bathroom was lovely and spacious. Outside the rooms is a fridge with room numbered bottles of water and milk. You can also keep your own things cool but the fridge is for everyone so don’t go mad. The bedroom was spotless and the bed was really comfortable, plenty of sockets for charging items. Breakfast order is taken the day before and lots of local produce is used, words cannot express how good our breakfast was, I’d actually put it at the top of all the places I’ve stayed and had a full English. The village is really small and quiet. I would stay here again 100% without a second thought. Like we said to our hosts “it was like staying with a family member “ it has a truly homely feel and is a credit to the hosts, you won’t regret staying here.
