Great views, good room.
The room we got was nice and spacious with a good size bathroom and a lovely balcony with great view. It was easy to deal with the manager, but we spoke italian. The area is a bit dodgy, and the street was quite noisy until about 2am on Friday. No shower gel or soap. Overall, good value for money, would recommend it.

The property itself was lovey, the view outstanding, the self check in easy but a word of advice. DO NOT STAY WEEKENDS! I hadnt read the reviews that mentioned the bone shattering, awful doof doof music, that goes all Saturday night to around 3am Sunday, until after I experienced it. Stay during the weekby all means but keep clear weekends.

GREAT PLACE - 'LIVELY' NEIGHBOURHOOD
Great little place, room only, located in a 'lively' neighbourhood near one of the main piazzas, and 15 minutes walk to the tourist areas. Good sized twin room with spacious bathroom and excellent corner balcony. On Saturday night, there was incredibly loud music playing outside until 2pm....good for us but not for many.

Cheap but decent room in an old, uninspiring building that is in a bit of a sketchy neighborhood with techno music blasting until late late in night

The neighbourhood wasn’t clean and was noisy.

8/10 Very good

This property is a good value. The neighborhood will take some getting used to. It is safe, loud and vibrant but in an old shabby part of town. Yet two blocks from Prada. There is a coffee shop a bakery and farmacy in the square on the side of the building. A small supermarket in the corner next door, a great pizza place kitty corner fron there, a cart with olives an all sort of goodies across the street, several bars across the plaza and a fresh vegetable market on the side street. Not bad. Giussepe is a sweetheart, very helpful with info on where to eat in town. You get your monies worth, but you have to be flexible.

2/10 Poor

We must express our profound concern for our safety and well-being during our stay at casa come to me apartment. The situation we encountered was far beyond acceptable, and we are gravely disappointed by the misrepresentation of the conditions in the listing. The noise from the square was unbearable, with loud music blaring from multiple speakers and a crowd of approximately 150 people lingering until at least 4 a.m. This disturbance was more than just a minor inconvenience; it was a severe disruption that made it impossible to rest. Furthermore, we experienced threatening behavior that left us feeling unsafe. We were accosted by multiple groups who followed us from the square to the apartment entrance, yelling in our faces and cat-calling my girlfriend. This is not just an issue of noise; it is a question of safety and security, which is non-negotiable. this is a major concern for the quest staying at casa come to me!!! The safety and comfort of the guests should be of paramount concern. But The host refused to acknowledge it as an issue and did not consider it to be his or the hotel's responsibility in any Way The situation we encountered is not only unacceptable but also places the guests in potentially dangerous circumstances. Given these conditions, it is absolutely not an option to stay at casa come to me!! Avoid this place at any cost!!

AVOID IT AT ANY COST! We booked our staying with Casa come me from 3/5/23 to 8/5/23. Couple of days before the trip the host sent me a text saying that unfortunately the room was not available anymore. Just a couple of days before! He said he was sorry and that he had another room to offer but that this had external bathroom which was not what we booked. Very unprofessional as the host took too many bookings and decided to cancel the cheapest one. We basically were left without a room couple fo days before our trip and when I question that to the host he just said he was sorry. An absolute nightmare and holidays ruined! Save your money and unpleasant surprises.

No where on the Expedia site did it say this was a bedroom in a man’s apartment. He has four rooms he rents out and as women travellers we did not feel safe or comfortable. This is in a sketchy part of parlemo that is dirty and unsafe. Room fridge was unbearably loud. We could hear others coming in and out of the apartment at all times. Shower was clogged and disgusting. It was 26 degrees Celsius and the man who owns the apartment urged us not to use the AC. Overall we were so unhappy we forfeited what we paid for the remaining nights and found an actual hotel in a better part of town. Overall I am also very upset that no where did any media say Themis was a room amongst rooms in a man’s apartment who lives there. Not comfortable at all. Almost spoiled our whole trip until we left for a much much better accommodation.

The room is excellent and clean, but dealing with the owner is a strange Sicilian adventure. Actually, in the well-groomed 60's apartment, an employee is only for a few hours. I arrived at 3:30 p.m. to check in, and this employee appeared only at 4:00 p.m. I understand that the check-in time of 3:30 p.m. and check-out time of 9:30 a.m. is in the contract, as it is said in the "fine print". I asked to leave my luggage and return for it later on. I left s at 9:30 a.m., but I have not received any response (?), when I paid in Palermo to store my luggage in a tourist service office, I received a message from the owner stating that he just saw my request... The neighborhood is typically Palermo; if someone is interested in Mediterranean sociology, it is a good place to experiment. At 12:00 at night there were fireworks because it was a neighborhood celebration. In a nearby square there is a bar where they serve good croissants and understand the concept of American coffee, excellent. This bog hotel is not close to the center unless someone likes to walk with their luggage through alleys without proper sidewalks. I had the balcony room, the view is very good to capture the liveliness of a Sicilian neighborhood. If you like tranquility, it is better to look for another hotel.

Unable to sleep - Terrible area
We spent 3 nights in April and though the room was OK, the area is terrible. As it was the weekend, 2 out of the 3 nights we were unable to sleep due to the loud music coming from a nearby bars till very early hours way past 2 in the morning. The music was so loud to be heard through closed windows and curtains. To make it worse they were people stationing just below the building with their cars' doors open with loudspeakers so powerful to make our mattress vibrate. We felt that we were inside a club bearing in mind that both my partner and I wear earplugs! By the way, we've made videos and recordings as a proof that I'm not exaggerating. At one point I also called the police, but nothing really happened. We spoke with some of the neighbours and read articles about the area confirming that it is a hot spot for antisocial behaviour and dealings of any sorts with a constant bustle or scooters and cars stopping at any hour. We did text the owner of the place at one point explaining the situation, but he didn't even acknowledge the text. I understand that the owner has no control over the activities outside, but he should nevertheless be responsible of the comfort of his guests. And because he clearly knows what's happening in the area, he should not have the cheek to get away on renting an accommodation that is completely unsuitable for overnight stay....unless of course you don't mind going to bed at 3 am every night!.

You can’t find a better and more helpful host that Giuseppe believe me. He provided us info for everything we wanted in Palermo from transportation to local stores and restaurants. The room was clean with a very relaxing bed. The accommodation is close to the centre of Palermo but a bit loud on the street underneath on Fridays and Saturdays. A perfect experience overall.
