Pleasant stay in San Marco
We enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable experience at Antico Panada. It had plenty of Venetian charm - antique style furnature, Murano glass light fixtures, and prints from local street artists. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an oceany smell in the whole building. Not entirely unpleasant (we would stay again!) and understandable considering Venice is an island, but if you are sensitive to scents, this may not be the place for you.

Great little hotel in a super location. A couple of minutes walk to St. Mark’s Square and maybe ten minutes to the Rialto bridge. Photo ops galore of the splendour of the city and canals everywhere. We had a large room for three a short walk from the main hotel.
