8-day Enchanting Istanbul
Had a wonderful 7 nights stay at the Antusa Design Hotel in Sultanahmet area, Istanbul. The hotel is centrally located and just a short walk to the Sultanahmet square, Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque. The Sultanahmet and Gulhane tram stations are within walking distance too. The hotel I suspect was recently renovated as the room looks fresh and updated. And the room is of a decent size for hotels in the Sultanahmet area. Hotel has a rooftop terrace restaurant with a spectacular view of the Bosphorus, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia, and offers a good spread of continental and Turkish food for breakfast. The best part of the stay was the staff from the front office to the housekeeping, and from the restaurant manager to the wait staff. Every staff was so hospitable and professional in attending to the guests. Wish to commend Hasan the restaurant manager at breakfast for his impeccable service.

Avoid room 111
Avoid room 111. It has a tiny patio but the only daylight for the room and patio comes from a hole in the pavement above the patio. As it’s on a hill the room is actually underground despite being in the first floor! Very dark and dingy. Weird experience

Conveniently location and Comfortable beds.
Hotel was adequate for us. The room was a bit small but the comfortable king sized bed made up for the lack of space. Our room had a window that overlooked the air shaft, ie no view. And the walls were pretty thin so I could hear other guests yelling. The view at breakfast was of The Hagia Sophia so that was a nice perk. The staff was helpful and the location of hotel was super convenient to all the attractions in the Sultanhamet area. The only minor annoyance was the strong scent that they have in the lobby—it was overwhelming and gave me a headache.

Exploded lightbulb, stains, rude front desk!!!
The room was weird. Blue lights and a sparkly wall (not in a good way). It looked like a club. There were paint stains and (unidentifiable) stains on tables and beds. The beds had human hair on them and the bathroom lightbulb exploded while I was there. I felt gross inside the room. The window was broken and the "forth bed" looked like a DIY project. It smelled weird and the front desk people are nice until you pay. They don't care about you after that. They must have bribed customers for the 5 star reviews. I left after 45 minutes and I would rather sleep on the street than in this hotel.

I cannot say more than great this about Antusa Hotel , the workers were very nice and helpful . They spoke English which is great and even if they did not understand they went the extra mile to help. We wanted to stay again for our second part of our trip but no more rooms available but they still held on to our luggage so we can go to another city and explore. I will definitely stay again next time I come to Turkey . My entire family loved it. The spa was also a great relaxing experience.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the rooms and washroom smell and are dirty. Once we got the room it was not cleaned properly, the washroom sink was dirty and had black stains from previous guests, the table inside the room had a mark and a stain of makeup product, and lots of finger prints on the glass from previous guests. Besides everything that was stated, the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Quick stay-over. Great hotel, great location.
We stayed one night between flights at this awesome hotel. The hotel location is just perfect. Minutes from sights and nice restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Room was on the small side but very good, perfect for a single stay-over. Breakfast was very good with a vast selection of fruit and other tasty things. We used the hotel transfer service to go from and to the airport. It was very convenient and the driver was great. Well worth the money.
