We arrived late and was sent to a room where the room was occupied and we walked into a person sleeping-not a HAPPY SITUATION. We wrote long time in advance with a wish to stay at the same floor 3 rooms - and one was send to another floor - until the situation about walking into another room -THEN we got a room at the same floor. The rooms are very NICE AND CLEAN. THE HOTEL location is PERFECT in the middle of everything. The day time service was excellent. The restaurant and bar was so kind and REALLY GOOD.

From the minute, I arrived, the staff were very engaged, helpful and supportive. The taxi driver would not take a credit card for payment, which has never happened to me in Germany and the concierge didn’t miss a beat and just went out and paid for it so I could get settled into my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the people, the location in the overall layout of the hotel.

Breakfast was amazing
Firstly, the location was perfect for us. We landed at Hamburg and one direct train took us to within 2 minute walk to the front door. It is close to the alt stadt and harbour area, which we frequented, but it is actually quite central to a lot of stuff. The hotel was very nice. Check in was a breeze and the room was a good size with everything that we needed. The only negative, it was quite a warm room, but hindsight, i think there was some temperature control we could have played around with! But the best part about the stay was the breakfast buffet in the morning. There was so much choice, catering for every food choice. And if you like a bit of fizz to start your morning, that was also an option. It is worth paying for the breakfast. It was wortb every penny!! If going back, we would stay here again.
