The hotel and my room was spotless, so clean. 5 minute walk from Estacon Intermodal de Bilbao, which is the main bus station, where you can catch busses to the airport and other cities / towns in Spain. (I went on a wonderful day trip to San Sebastian from there). The real stars of the hotel are Javier and Xavier, who work at the reception. They are such kind people, who went out of their way to help me on a regular basis with tips and ideas about what and where to explore, and each night they were keen to hear if I've enjoyed my day. I was so impressed with them.

Simple but clean. Small room but big enough for a couple of nights. Comfortable bed. A decent walk from the Old Town or Guggenheim but not difficult to get to either. Check-in staff very friendly and helpful. No kettle etc. in room - vending machine on ground floor for coffee etc. Breakfast disappointing, very basic - although cheap, better value can be found elsewhere.
