The best hotel for the price near kyoto station.
This hotel was very nice and conveniently located next to Kyoto Station. Had a very good restaurant in it with a great breakfast buffet. My only knock on this hotel is the room was kinda small.

Close to station, modern hotel.
Great location, a short walk from the station. 7-11 directly opposite the hotel. Friendly staff, nice family room. Complimentary hot drinks available at certain times in the restaurant.

Great place to stay in Kyoto
We stayed for 4 nights while travelling around Japan. It is a very nice 4 star hotel. The rooms are small, but very clean and well mantained with lots of cute little amenities. We loved the breakfast buffet, probably the best we had in Japan. The hotel is next to the train station with easy access to the public transport. I would most certainly book this hotel again.

Immaculate hotel, excellent location for traveling
Very modern and clean. We stayed in a western style room that had 4 beds. The space was just big enough where I wouldn’t describe it as being crammed like other rooms we’ve stayed in during our Japan vacation. The men’s onsen was very nice, included indoor and outdoor onsen plus a cold plunge and sauna. Facilities were immaculate and the service was great.

Weak, somewhat unstable WiFi.
WiFi was on the weaker (slower) side. Connection wasn’t 100%. For foreigners who don’t have phone coverage, good internet is crucial.

Very nice hotel. We stayed in the traditional Tatami room and it was super cozy and comfortable. The hotel provided water, coffee and tea and coffee every day and had a great bath. Would stay again if I come to Kyoto

We loved how convenient this property was in closeness to Kyoto station, places to eat, and shopping mall. We did one evening eat a meal at their restaurant and we enjoyed ourselves. The man who helped us check in spoke perfect English, which made it easy with dropping off our luggage before check-in and understanding the accommodations the hotel provides. They did have a “free drink” bar during the day with water, coffee, and cocoa. The room itself was nice. Obviously smaller than American hotels, but we had no issues with two large suitcases since we like to keep them closed up when not in use anyways. It is a little noisy at night being so close to Kyoto station, but we just turned up the fan because you truly can’t beat the convenience.

A short few minute walk away from Kyoto Station. Friendly staff to greet you from the moment you arrive and every time you leave and come back too. We got the three twin bed plus futon pull out room for a family of two adults and two children ages 7 and 5. It never felt too cramped or small. The hotel has laundry, complimentary drinks (coffee and juice usually) during the day. An onsite onsen was quite nice. You can check how busy it is using the TV as well. A 7-11 right across the street for easy food. A taxi service nearby in case you don't feel like taking the public transportation. The only thing I would ding it for was a bit of a lingering odd smell in the bathroom. Didn't smell bad, didn't smell great, not sure I could pin it exactly. But not a deal breaker at all. Would recommend for those that want a place close to the major station!

New Hotel Near Kyoto Station
The hotel is fairly new, everything is in good shape. Room was tight, toilet and sink are both separated from the shower/tub room. There is a public bath on the first floor which we did not utilize as the weather was quite warm. Bed was comfortable, but the AC control didn’t really respond so we open the sliding doors ro let in cool air. The hotel is very close to the Kyoto Station which h made moving around very easy.
