NO SHEETS
This was a beautiful well kept property. The check in was flawless and our 1 bedroom was fabulous. The only problem was checking in late and discovering house keeping was gone and no sheets were to be found for the pull out sofa bed! Security finally delivered!

Very busy resort Upon checking in They make it a sales tactic for their timeshare And you have to go to 3 different desk to get 1. Checked in 2. Parking pass 3. Activity voucher All with different lines The water park is not included in the nightly rate stay They don’t explain the recreation passes that you have to have to go to the pools It’s like you are thrown into it and left to figure it out Not enough time for that if it’s a weekend trip

Mediocre at BEST
There were dead bugs everywhere in my room. It made me paranoid of what else might be there. The back patio door was left open to invite more bugs in as well! In addition, I didn’t get any shampoo or conditioner just 6 bars of soap. When I asked the front desk the next day, they didn’t give me any and said they asked the question? I stayed for 4 days and paid a good amount of money for a less than mediocre experience. The room itself was spacious, sure. But that didn’t matter to me. I was there for a funeral and just wanted an “escape”. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.

Room was dated amd dingy
Booked on Hotels.com. As soon as we're checking in we get thrown to the wolves! I was not expecting to be hadsled with timeshare nonesense when I was there to attend a wedding. I was able to get away unscathed.

Not happy with the ants
The surrounding area beautiful. Lots of nature and great activities at the resort. The condo needed work on replacing the bedroom ceiling fan didn’t work bulbs in the bathroom out. There was lots of towels. Down fall would be the many ants that was I. The kitchen, den and bathroom. I called the resort and they came out traps down. Just crawling all over the place. Everything I put down and picked back up ants. We didnt cook or have food out. Only drinks in the refrigerator. I could feel them Crawling on me and look down and mash a ant

Took forever to get someone to fix a carbon monoxide alarm and that ruined the whole trip. Hearing a loud beep every 30 seconds is not relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Massanutten Resort. The resort offers many amenities and activities however everything must be purchased separately. I wish they offered an all inclusive option for families. The prices are high, but I guess that's as expected for a four seasons resort. The indoor waterpark was awesome! Getting to see the wildlife right off the balcony was amazing, everything from deer and groundhogs to birds and skunks! Gorgeous mountain views, secluded peaceful and quiet! (aside from the stomping loud neighbors in the condo above). P.S. Be prepared to drive at least 20 minutes away to find Walmart, food lion or any other everyday store... Besides the 7-Eleven at the entrance to the resort, which was very convenient!!! Overall great resort, highly recommend and will likely return!!!

The bed broke on the evening we were going to leave. The maintenance man who tried to help us was absolutely fantastic. He did what he could considering the late hour. However the main office never bothered to check in with us after I made the issue. We didn't expect anything major with recompensation or anything, but the thought would have been nice.

Okay but serious issues
Check in takes a little bit and there was a miscommunication with the dates. We double checked with the front desk and they said it fine and they had the right dates. We walked into the room and saw a light fixture hanging from the ceiling. Then we wnet onto the deck and there was rotting boards that were not safe to be on. After furthing looking into the room it wasnt the cleanest either. We continued our stay and the next day we recieved a message saying we had checked out even though we had another night. After calling the front desk and them saying it was a glitch in the system we went back to our rooms to discover our keys had been deactivated. So we had to go the whole way back to the welcome center to get new keys. The staff wad helpful but it was very inconvenient to deal with all of this. Hopefully they fix things and clean it up a little better. Other than that we had a good stay

The accomodations were good. Two concerns. 1) I coiuld not get the fireplace to work. That would have been nice to have in the cold weather at night. 2)
