Room was clean and comfortable, nice pillows. Staff is friendly. Breakfast not so good. Stale bagels, grounds in the low quality coffee, ran out of creamer, poor quality cereal. Wish they had in room coffee machines. Robin is a friendly manager. Keep her around.

Not so Super 8
Room was clean but very dated. Beds were both very uncomfortable and worn out. Breakfast was available, but dont expect much. Very hard to get the room to maintain a comfortable temperature. It was either too hot or too cold, never just right. Had a flat screen but below basic cable. Tried to watch the football game, but the picture was so low def that the game was blurry. Would be an ok place for a cheap night, but dont expect much.

Don't believe the high rating
We got there and the desk was unmanned. Waited 30-45 min to check in (unfortunately paid in advance, so couldn't walk away without losing my money). No answer from the listed number. We were coming in exhausted. We didn't realize how dirty the whole place was until the next morning. Would not recommend. I do not understand how this hotel was rated so high on this site.

My wife and I spent one night at Super 8 by Wyndham Portage on our way home. We really enjoyed our stay because our room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Great Choice in the Area
I was in the area for a Ice Age Trail building event and decided to stay as close to the build as possible and choose the Super 8. The room was very clean, plenty of items to make the stay comfortable. I am fairly particular about mattresses and the king bed was very comfortable and I had now problems sleeping. The shower was hot each night which was key after working in the cold all day! The breakfast in the morning was adequate - one day the juice machine wasn't working, but it was fixed the next day.
