WORST “GULFVIEW” NOT A SPEC OF BLUE JUST DUMPSTERS
How can u have a specific “gulfview suite” upgrade $$ FROM THE FIRST FLOOR??? Do u see the scenic views ADVERTISED SPECIFICALLY WITH UPGRADED $$.
More of “upgraded” for our vacation of a lifetime after my husband’s passing & 1st vacation in 9 hellish years”. Very disappointed.
More of the gorgeous “gulfview “. Location is wonderful. Just othersise of that mound is a gorgeous beach. Hotel is very delapitated & being torn down by big resort. The manager is clearly skating by until then bc i felt like we were EXTEMELY MISLED
So happ i paid more money to upgrade bc of the beautiful views shown in photos of my “alleged” view. Was anticipating a wonderful experience. Ripped off.

Our room was horribly disappointing. When we arrived we noticed our back door was unlocked and we needed to adjust the glass door for minutes every time we needed to lock it. We decided to check all doors to make sure they were locked, sure enough the door between both rooms was unlocked and once opened we found tons of mold behind the door. The property was so unsanitary. Lights didn’t work, safe in room didn’t work, toilet was leaking. Honestly, just disappointing.

Great Location
The staff was very nice and accommodating. The carpet in the rooms have huge stains on them and I never went barefooted. The socks were not very dirty and they did a very good job cleaning but they need to rip that carpet out and put hard flooring. That alone would make it 50% better. We had the full kitchen and living area, that is where the majority of the stains are and it makes you think the place is not very clean. We didnt use anything but the refrigerator and looked like it had seen much, much better days but was one of the coldest I have ever used. TV could not get any stations. It's just the place is old and needs a redo very badly. BUT it was close to where we wanted to be without paying a small fortune and walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. If you don't mind the looks, less frills, and are needing just a very clean decent place to sleep as we did, I would say go for it and spend that extra couple hundred dollars you would spend elsewhere on a room and have fun in the amazing city. Bed was ok, very clean sheets and towels.

Review of Sea Side Hotel Clear Water Beach Florida
This was a very upsetting situation. When I booked this hotel it was rated an 8 (not a 5). The price was very good, the view was very nice, the bed was comfortable (had my own pillow), air condition worked, TV worked. the rest of the room was awful. The wall and ceiling paint was peeling badly, the bathroom tiles had many broken with the shower tile having a hole (I put a towel in it), the molding was broken, the carpet had stains, the sliding glass door to the balcony came off the track (husband had to fix it). What made us leave were the ants in the kitchen area. I didn't see them when we first walked in and had a bag of some groceries and the ants came out. I moved it to a chair and left the next day. The other hotels in our vacation were nice. Days Inn Wyndham, Hilton Gardens (we got this one on our own), the Hyatt were all in the 8-10 range. By the way .. they were closing down the hotel this week per the attendant. Thanks for listening.

Worst hotel I’ve ever been in!!!!
We left on first day. Dirty. towel racks torn off the wall. Vanity light broken. Could not get Wi-Fi in room. It goes on and on. We spoke to Hotels.com about a refund and are waiting. We also had to leave early because of a medical emergency. Hotel was AWFUL!!

The hotel is conveniently located. Lots of places within walking distance including the beach. However the outside of the building, stairwell, elevator, ground in hallways, etc... are rusted, busted, dirty, wore out or broken and honestly kind of scared me when we got there. Once in the room it had new floors and somewhat clean, so we stayed. The bottom of the shower and toilet was stained and dirty. The sink was rusted and the tile on the front of it was literally falling off. There wasn't ANY internet the ENTIRE time we were there so we couldn't do anything on our laptops. The TV Only had two channels so on those rain days we were so bored. I wouldn't stay there again. The walls were so thin that we could hear the conversations word for word in the next room and it helped us up at night a couple times. If they could do some maintenance on the place it would be great.
