Spend an extra $30 and stay somewhere else
We should have known that this was a relatively poor quality hotel by the price. We had to walk through a group of people smoking right in front of the entrance to get in the front doors. The room was very shoddily renovated. The shower curtain rod was very tenuously attached to the wall. The tub spout had a good 2" gap between its bar and the wall. There were numerous cigarette burns on the tub rim. The hallways smelled terrible. Our bed sheets had bloodstains on them. The mattress underneath was not stained, but it made me very suspicious that other rooms had bedbugs due to the pattern of the staining. We asked for either a different room or linens, and we got linens and remade the bed ourselves. The "continental breakfast" was coffee and instant oatmeal. The staff was friendly but seemed a little lost when we asked for assistance.

For the price, the hotel was good. It's not a high quality place but it was clean and the beds were comfortable so what more could you ask for. There was only coffee and oatmeal for the morning breakfast so I can't say that was any good but there was a McDonald's down the street. We would probably stay there again if we were in that area.
