Very nice and clean property, but the area around the property is VERY NOISY specifically at night. There is no air conditioning, but you can request a fan. There is an elevator, but to get to the elevator you do need to go up some stairs. The host very friendly.

Great hotel
Lovely room, very quiet, but hotel was close to the metro, so ideal for travel further afield or coming/going to/from airport. Shared kitchen was well equiped. Vera, the owner, was very helpful and suggested places to see etc. Her English was very good. I definitely recommend the hotel. The rooms were nicely quirky, good to have something a bit different

Our stay was great! Good location near a lot of tourist spots, bars and restaurants. Loved the unique decor of the place. The only weird part was the room flyer said there was breakfast provided but there was only coffee. This was not a big deal but perhaps the flyer could be updated if there is no breakfast anymore. :)

Great spot. Right in the action of the city. Marta is awesome. Just make sure you either get there before 6pm - or use what’s app to contact the property for the door codes and what not.

8/10 Very good

This is a good hostel, however the check in process was complicated. There is no front desk or anyone working in the actual building that can help you check in, and they text you the access instructions via WhatsApp without informing you that you need to get that app. Therefore, make sure you get WhatsApp several days before arriving and make sure that you have the building/ room access codes before you get there! Additionally, there is a Lisbon Calling hotel in same building just one floor down, so make sure you book which one you want as it can be kind of confusing. Otherwise, it is a good hostel in a good location.

Perfect for 2 days in Central Lisbon. It’s very convenient for metro and bus. The room was very clean and had a nice view. We enjoyed the breakfast of bread, jams, cheese, muesli, yogurt, and orange juice - it was a bit confusing the first day the food was not portioned out, but the second day it was designated per room which we preferred and got more to eat. We shared a bathroom with 3 other rooms and only had to wait briefly. Overall this is a very nice guesthouse and we would stay again!

Lovely place! However is located in a busy nightlife neighborhood that gets noisy. The street could use a little cleaning after parties are over. The property has no a/c ask for a fan during hot weather season.

8/10 Very good

We had a lovely stay at calling Lisbon. We stayed for 4 nights, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The area surrounding was very busy and lots of life to it. I would say this property is a mix between a hostel and a bed and breakfast. The breakfast is very limited, just toast or cereal or yogurt. The private bathroom was external from the bedroom (which we knew!) but you did have to walk across the hall way/lobby to get to it, which sometimes was awkward- the building is old and really pretty but the soundproofing is non existent, so you can hear everything on the street and in the room next door and in the hallway and lobby. So if anybody goes to the toilet at night you hear the floor boards creaking! I would say just bring some good ear plugs. Our room was the blue room and was really lovely, bed was super comfy and big. The room overall was great and could be cool or warm depending on what you want. There is a little window at the top of the door so if you are on the top bunk you can see the lobby and it does let light through - this could easily be sorted with a little blind for night time - I also think a small bin for the room would have been good. The bathroom itself was great with two showers, two toilets and a sink - very spacious and clean! Overall we enjoy our stay with the place being very friendly and charming.
