Just around the corner from the touristy hotspots
The time spent at Ozo was wonderful. The room is spacious and bright with the light colored furniture and carpet. The infinity pool on the 22nd floor is a great relieve from the heat and crowds after walking around and discovering George Town. The breakfast buffet is strongly oriented towards savory dishes and not so many options for a more western style breakfast apart from sweet pastries and very little yoghurt. I had a hard time to stomach the hearty breakfast. I missed the sustainable promise of not changing the towels daily. We left the towels to dry on the hook, yet the towels were refreshed daily. Not really a necessity and kind of waste. Yet overall we were very happy with choosing Ozo and it made our sty in George Town a very pleasant one. Just a block from all the touristic hotspots but away from the crowds!

For a budget travel, this is a good option. Location near around the old town area, easy to go by foot. Hotel looks new and keep in good condition, however the overall design is quite strange, such as reception at 20/F, Clothes closet indide the toilet, Soap dispenser placed next to electrical socket. Hotel staff is normal, good but not outstanding. Breakfast is ok, taste not match to me. Overall, its worth to stay with the price.

Fantastic hotel, we couldn’t believe how new and clean the rooms were. We were supplied with fresh water every day, staff were quick to assist with our needs, even calling us Grab cabs when needed. The hotel was in walking distance to all attractions and to one of the biggest hawker markets for food. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

The room was good, but they charge for replacing items like bottles of water, etc., which the other hotels on this trip did not do. Our room was not made up until approx. 5pm every day which was a little awkward. The breakfast was not wonderful and I can fry an egg better than the chef seemed able to do. The pool area was nice and there were decent views from the pool area which was at the top of the building.

Not a classic hotel experience in that the lobby is on the 20th floor and so the only time you see staff in is check in and out. Good size room but really the highlights are the swimming pool and the food options available in the nearby streeets and markets. 3 night stay was very enjoyable and a great first experience in Asia for our 14 and 17yo.
