Staff were super kind and personable, remembering small details and being the highlight of the stay. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and the floor and bathroom were quite dirty. The bathtub had hair from previous occupants and was lightly damaged in several spots.

Rooms and hotel very clean. Bed was comfortable and shower/bathroom worked fine. Breakfast was decent. We choose this hotel since short drive to the baseball stadium for the games. Only occurrence was the lady in the parking lot trying to panhandle us for money when we parked. I was not comfortable with that as we unloaded our car. We saw her the next day too bothering others.

Room was clean and comfortable. In the bathroom the toilet did not flush well, the tub did not drain and the water pressure in the sink was not good. I told one of the staff the laughed it off and said ok. Then O heard another person who was staying there complaining about how the towels, washcloths made them feel dirty. It’s near downtown about 6 minutes away but not in downtown. So we liked that. The First Lady that checked us in was such a sweetheart as well and we got there late at night.

Room was ok. It wasn’t the cleanest. There was left over hair on the floor and in the shower but the beds were clean. The toilet was rusty but there wasn’t mold anywhere that I could tell overall just ok. Wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve been in but definitely not the best. Area is ok but there was someone loitering asking my husband for money/ to go to the ATM which was kind of sketchy.

Clean and comfortable. The fire alarm went off at 5am supposedly due to someone smoking so that was frightening and jarring and disruptive. Thankfully it was cleared within about 15 minutes but standing out in the cold (I took an uber there) was not fun. I couldn’t go back to sleep after.

My son's vehicle was vandalized in your parking lot. After this happened i learned that East St Louis is known for car breakins and thefts. He was reporting to Ft Leonardwood Army duty. Very very heartbreaking to have this happen.

I booked this property for my brother who is needing a hotel while he is staying near his hospitalized wife. I wanted to take the financial pressure off, so I booked it from another state online. They make the process quite difficult, and in the end required that we go through a third party vendor like expedia. Even when we did that, they had one clerk who demanded to see the credit card it was paid for with, which again, is in another state. I wish they would make that process a little easier considering how many people do online bookings as gifts these days.

When I arrived to check in I was asked to pay $10 to park in their lot and I was charged a $150 deposit to ensure I didn’t smoke in the room. They charged my credit card for the deposit before I even got the key to the room. I’m not a smoker. These were hidden charges. I wouldn’t have stayed at this hotel had this been disclosed prior to me paying for my reservation. The water pressure was extremely low and the toilet was difficult to flush. I will not stay here again.

Front desk clerks/managers were not friendly or welcoming except for one clerk. Her name was Ana I believe. She was very helpful. The bathtub was dirty and the drain backed up while showering. The breakfast was gross! Sausage patty’s were under cook. The bananas were green and cereal was stale.
