One night business stay
One night business stay adequate for what I needed a short walk into Stirling. Mind you up hill on the way back!
Ian, 1-night trip

A nice mid range hotel in a good location.
Well positioned hotel. Clean, cozy and serviceable although rooms a little tired and had a lingering odour of tobacco from the past. Main areas have been nicely updated. Leisure facilities were nice and breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food.
Angela, 1-night trip

Where are the eggs?
There wasn’t a bar fridge, the bathroom was old, breakfast was below standard (plates were cold and multiple times we had to wait for fried eggs) and there was minimal interaction at arrival (no information provided concerning the area). Parking is on site at a daily rate.

Will not stay here again
Lot of noise from the upper rooms, not very comfortable and I strongly disagree about the parking fee, also the breakfast did not accommodate for not pork eaters

PARKING IS NOT FREE
Please see other review. I extended my 1 night stay to 2 because of the red warning.

Ok for a budget break.
Hotel is dated. Paintwork in bathroom needs a good clean and taps rusty. Only part of a roll of toilet paper and 1 tissue in a box. Windows ate old with gaps which make room cold.

An historic stay
I love the Stirling Highland Hotel. It is a little dated but the rooms are a great size with a clean spacious bathroom. The thing I most love about it though is its history. You can still see the fine bones of the school it used to be and every corridor and classroom is still there but with a new purpose. It is so easy to imagine it thronging with kids. Being built around a quad is particularly charming. The leisure suite is great too with a lovely pool area and great gym.

Hit you for sneaky £10 parking charge upon arrival
Beautiful building, needing some tlc though. Building itself fine, bathroom had cracked toilet, flaking paint on ceiling, very poorly smart repair x2 done on bath. Was not impressed by sneaky £10 charge for parking, THAT WAS NOT STATED on welcome pack from hotel, said free parking, DONT THINK SO......
Martin, 1-night trip
