First and last time
Unfortunately, first and last time for me at this hotel. Firstly the price is way too expensive for what you get, moreover the price at the desk is not the same as when booking on Expedia; I was supposed to pay $163.85, plus $20 fees for my pet as it said on Expedia. They charge me 25$ for the pet and 167,71$ for the room, for a total of 192,10$ instead of the 183,85$ I was supposed to pay. If it was just that, I wouldn't have complained but it doesn't stop there. The room was literally freezing, the heating was turned off and warming the room to a comfortable level took over 2 hours. I know I was at the worse day of the polar vortex but I think in that case, put the minimum heat in the room for the guests it not that much asked. When it was time to go to bed, I opened the sheets to see a stain that I hoped was wine. I then looked more closely at the sheets and covers of the 2 beds and found lots of unidentified stains. I asked the desk for a new sheet and 2 new clean covers. The new sheet the desk gave me was ok but the 2 covers had worse stains than the first ones. When I changed the sheets, I noticed that the mattress cover was dirty and full of hair. At this point I just gave up and went to get some blankets that luckily I had in my car.

This hotel is exactly what you pay for. While the property and common areas are dated, the room is clean and has necessary updates to make it a pleasant stay. The bedding was clean and updated, streaming was available, the vanity mirror was updated, the bathroom clean and tidy. The hosts were more than accommodating. I did not partake in the breakfast but it seemed to have the basics. Is this a five star hotel? No. Is it a place to stay that will be comfortable and clean? Yes.
