Nice hotel but not worth the price.
Lovely hotel which was very central and clean. Unfortunately the rooms were big and the heating didn't keep the rooms warm enough and they didn't have extra heaters. There was also a vile smell coming from the bathroom into the room. I presume this is why they spray that heavy perfume before you check in. Not sure if they doing some sort of cooking up on the 5th floor but everytime you walked out into the hallway you can smell food being made so was quite off putting. Personally don't think i would stay here again.

The hotel is in a remodeled old building. High ceilings, thick walls and more room than usual. The single room was very comfortable, with a desk, a fridge, and a bathroom with a large shower stall. My room was on the 2nd floor (American 3rd), and was surprisingly quiet. The location is great, just a few steps from metro station Politechnika, and in a much nicer area than the city center by the Palace of Culture. A short walk to many restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. The hotel itself has a good coffee shop and there is a popular restaurant in the same building. The only problem I experienced was the morning of the check-out. After I had coffee downstairs, I was locked out of my room even though it was 3 hours before check-out time. It took a while to get the problem solved.

The hotel is conveniently located... a short bus ride from Central Station. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There is a good cable service, with numerous foreign language channels, including CNN. The breakfasts are superb..with a large variety of appealing dishes.
