Good stay

The resort was not as upscale as I was excepting from looking at the pictures, however it was also a lot less expensive compared to the other resorts and hence, made it worth it. The swimming pool, bar service and breakfast, along with the beach were excellent. Absolutely loved the beach - it felt sheltered, calm waters and very relaxing. I would recommend this place for the price factor along with the private beach access.

Happy with our stay

Parking was close and easy. We first had an alright view with partial view of the sea. We asked for a different room and were gladly shown a different room and we're given the keys to the new room with an excellent view.

We really enjoyed our stay. Since it was the off season and the weather was iffy, we weren't sure what to expect. Although they were doing maintenance because of the time of year, I'm happy to say that the property exceeded our expectations. The food was quite good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities themselves were in good shape overall, and because it was off season, it was easy to hang out in a variety of places without being crowded. We had a few torrential downpours with thunder & lightning and the seating under the covered areas was a bit limited, but the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was comfortable wherever they decided to hang out. It was a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to go back, especially in the off season.

The pool was very nice and was kept at a pleasant temperature. The ocean was also very nice. The beach chairs and umbrellas could use an update. The all inclusive was very good, but there was an issue with the wi-fi in the rooms.

The major attraction at this location is the beach, by far one of the best on the island. I was able to visit a couple others on the west coast and they were all stunning, but just walking out from your room to Jolly you're not going to missing out. The property is a bit dated, but well kept. Wish I read the email message from the the resort before not at the end of the stay. Room service is an additional USD10 and has to be requested. Only at the end of the third day we just caught the house cleaning lady and asked for clean towels. So just remember that you can access clean towels at anytime, not house cleaning. Now as it relates to food, I did see 3 restaurants on the website. However, only two of those are actually indoor with servers seating you. The third one is opposite the pool bar which has grilled food. It's more of an outdoor setting with tables and umbrellas between the grill hut and the bar, as well as open seating upstairs the bar. The pizza restaurant is by reservation only on the day of, please be sure to do so very early like 7.30a.m. It's fully booked out on weekends and only open like 3 days per week. By far the best dining experience with a different menu offered each night, Italian basics with great pizza options. Finally the daily restaurant where breakfast, lunch & dinner is served, wasn't five star meals. But for meeting needs of three square meals, it didn't fail with an omelette station, daily soup, and a different theme every day.

Not a lot of food options. Lots of pork. They need to cater to other people. Also, they don’t clean your room if you don’t stay for more than 7 nights. Kind of a bummer.

The beach and the swimming pool were lovely. The bedrooms need updating. Squeaky taps which woke everybody up. Bathroom door difficult to open as it wouldn’t slide. Bathroom door didn’t give privacy. No coffee or tea facilities in bedroom. Extra charge for cleaning the room. All common areas need a lick oif paint and some updating. Food was average. Not enough light in outside dining areas.

Just came back from a 6 night stay. I'll start with the good: the beach is absolutely GORGEOUS! Nothing but white sand and crystal clear blue water. The workers were all super friendly. Now for the bad: The property is very outdated. The room was small. The toilet barely flushed and the air conditioning stopped blowing cold air after day 3. There was mold in the bathroom shower. The TV in the room was small with terrible picture quality. The food was mediocre. The only food option besides the buffet was a pizza place which was not open every day. Food was better there but not by much. Drinks were ok but no top shelf liquor. We were there in the office season so the resort was pretty empty. There was no real entertainment in the evenings so we were in the room and ready for bed by 9pm every night. If you're into quiet days on the beach (and don't care much about food) this place is perfect. I can't really complain for the price I paid. It was good enough for a relaxing vacation.

Overall, it was good, it's not a 4 or 5 star, but it was clean, bed was very comfortable. AC working TV Working plenty of hot water, and the beaches to die for amazing

Had a lovely stay at the Jolly Beach, great value for money. Fantastic long, calm beach. Food was good, but limited. Grill at the beach bar was very tasty and the drinks and cocktails at the bars were good. Rooms are basic and could do with a little TLC, but beds are comfortable. Staff are nice and friendly also.

Despite the the resort rooms needing a lot of updating, the location, staff, pool, drinks and food made up for the shortcomings. I would visit again, it’s ok enough for a family vacation.
