The views are stunning, Hotel is basic, food is ok enough to find I often had the fish and was nice. Shame the bite is lacking a nice outdoor dinning area or bar. Pool area feels old and a bit sad. We always went to the lovely beach which is shuttle service down the road. Did walk it also, good 15min. Need a car or transport for this resort I think. Overall we enjoyed it but I don’t think I would return.

Not the best
The hotel is situated in beautiful area of the island, walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. The check in was advertised from 2pm, however on arrival we were told that our room will be ready between 2-3pm perhaps this should be mentioned on the website. In the end we got our keys just before 3pm. The hotel condition isn’t the best, I’d rate the hotel 3* as opposed to 4* as advertised, hotel had very basic amenities in the room, no kettle, no fridge, however we asked for a fridge on the last day and this was provided to us only upon availability. There is a safe in the room for which you need to pay €3 per day, (that’s not acceptable). The aircon was very loud, you couldn’t have it on all night. The rooms a spacious, bathroom was clean. Pool area was big and clean, each night there was some sort of entertainment provided for all guests. Buffet breakfast and dinner were very good, lots of different choices to pick from, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Sadly the hotels condition lets it down.

Pretty nice hotel and breakfast and dinner are included even in the cheapest option. Shuttle to the beach. The one thing that I wasn’t keen on is that it’s not advertised how limited the parking is. You pretty much have to park down the hill in the village and then either walk up (15 min all uphill) or wait for the shuttle. Shuttle runs frequently, but has two 1-hour breaks during the day. I’d probably stay again if nothing else better comes up.

We were only there for one night and it was great! The staff and the service was top-notch! The location is prime and the view was outstanding! The room itself was not so great - no coffee machine or cups, the hairdryer was not working, and other small things that made our 12 hours a bit inconvenient. I think it would be great to have the breakfast, lunch and dinner hours posted on the site so we could book our travel accordingly - for example, we are early birds and wake up at 5 am but breakfast does not start until 830 until 1030. We had to be at the airport by 1 pm but lunch doesn't start until 1 pm. All in all- great stay but now since I know the food timings, I would plan my trip accordingly!

Beautiful view but not 4 star
We stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of September. The views are outstanding and what drove my decision to stay. However, it is not 4 star, 3 would be more accurate. The beds are not comfortable, very springy. The rooms are very basic which I thought would be ok but I was wrong. The food is ok, bit samey for lunch and dinner each day. The photo with the large day beds is on the 6th floor, there are 4 of them however that bar is now shut and beds ddo not look clean or inviting. Zorro is absolutely brilliant at entertaining the adults and children. We loved his friendly banter and breaking up the day from sitting in the sun. The beach is shingles and very stoney which bothered us but always busy so must not be issue for too many. If you are looking for hotel with beautiful view and not too fussy on food or comfortable beds then worth a stay for 3/4 nightsm

Come for the views, but amenities are outdated
The hotel itself is very outdated and very basic, which makes sense because the price is so economical. The food and coffee are very mediocre, if you’re at all a foodie. Not a good spot for solo travel or young single travelers. Definitely designed for families on a budget. All that being said, the views and location are incredible and worth it ans good value for the price.

Pay for the view - Don't expect 4 Stars - 3 STARS
The hotel is tired and old fashioned. It's being renovated next year. We're a couple went for a week after rules relaxed. Everything in Ibiza seemed expensive, but Hotel Galeon we thought more reasonable. It cost £1250 for a week half board and expected a lot more. I paid for a sea view but we got a room far left of the building (608 in photo), low down overlooking the pool. Sunbathers could look up and we were directly above stage where evening entertainment took place. We complained about it, but reception staff were unhelpful. We were told that was the sea view room we had paid extra for so we had to pay an extra £150 to be upgraded to a priority sea view room which was on the far right of the hotel (811) and that was far better - completely private and a bigger balcony. Worth it! Breakfast is fine. Plenty to choose from but coffee machine is terrible. We had dinner most nights but very average - basic hot food / cold buffet / desserts r rubbish. Best thing was the fresh bread and cheese. Unless all inclusive you're not allowed any drinks other than water. Drinks and Wine list poor but reasonably priced. Beer is about 2 euros. Bottle of Mateus rose 11 euros. You can only eat during set hours, pool bar has no snacks. Most days had to park in rough off road car park down the hill and one morning we were blocked in so couldn't leave. Serving staff and entertainment reps were brilliant! San Miguel Brilliant location would go again, but Hotel expensive and average. 3 STARS

Great stay in a great part of Ibiza
We had a great stay at Ole galeon! The staff were very efficient and professional, especially with the current conditions of the pandemic. The food was really good, lots of varieties for everyone. The pool and entertainment were also great, we had a lot of fun. The only improvement I would suggest is that we were told that we could check out a little later than 11am by one member of staff but we had another member of staff call and we felt very rushed to leave. I would just suggest better communication between reception staff in the future as the end of our stay was dampened by this.

Exceptionally clean with good quality food. Staff very pleasant and attentive. There was an issue with my room type nit being available when I arrived, it took a while to resolve it but they made up for it by allowing us to stay in the room late in the last day for free. Excellent entertainment every night, kids loved it. Nice safe friendly area
