Balladins Lingoshiem-convenient for train to City
It looked as though the hotel had been recently taken over and was awaiting renovation - hence this was reflected in the price. The location is right next to the Lingoshiem station with regular trains to Strasburg 1,6 Euros each way taking 7 minutes, Good Car Parking facilities. No restaurant other than breakfast.

Couldn't wait to get away
Even with Sat Nav could not find hotel. After searching for ages saw a sign pointing down a lane and off the beaten track. Hotel very unappealing and opposite a yard patrolled by a dog. Had to ring bell to get in to find restaurant closed and in complete darkness making the foyer dark too. The clerk gave us the TV remote control to take to our room where we found the TV padlocked to the wall! Although clean a very basic room with table, chair, mirror on back of door 10ft away from hairdryer plug, curtains with insufficient clips, a toilet seat that would not stay put and a sink that filled up, even when brushing your teeth. Only nearby restaurant empty so had to drive into town. There restaurants were pretty empty too so a carry out pizza was our meal! Dog barked during the night which made my husband worried about our car and holiday belongings but did not want to investigate incase he could not get back in hotel. Daylight showed the yard as a dump (not a pretty site from the window), workmen in opposite room working noisily, corridor floor covered in a protective sheet because of them so why were we put there? Not happy with the price paid for no restaurant facilities a nd couldn't wait to get away. Would not recommend it and would never go there again. Lingolsheim a nice town and very clean.

check whats outside the window before you accept the room!!!
whilst on the whole this hotel was as you'd expect for the price, but on arrival we had to ask again for a twin room and although i could see the key board on the wall behind the reception desk was over half full , we were given a room thats only window opened not only onto the back of the kitchen but the bin area too. It was over 30 degrees so given there is no air con(not that i expected it) an open window was a must, until half five when the kitchen fired up. we arrived after 10 pm so can't imagine the all the other rooms were taken. also we paid for breakfast with the night porter but no note was made of this and it was only the the fact the day staff trusted us that we did not have to pay again. Aside from this, the hotel was secure, clean and the day staff welcoming and helpfull.

Cheap place to stay just for night
hotel had paper thin walls and was very noisy, The price for the hotel is why we stayed on our way to the Black forest. I would only use if you need somewhere to get some sleep.

Hotel avec du mobilier vieux, rapés, cassés, sales. Tv qui ne fonctionne pas. Chambre sale. Sdb qui fait peur. Bref pour rien au monde je retournerai dans cet établissement

Un bon cran au dessus d'un hotel type F1...
Le prix est sensiblement supérieur mais avec une promo (ce qui fut mon cas) ca rentre dans les mêmes tarifs voire inférieurs ! C'est propre, d'un niveau supérieur à un F1, correctement insonorisé. La salle de petit déjeuner est vaste et le petit déjeuner, quoique classique, propose des croissants/chocolatines du matin même (ce qui est bien agréable). C'est éventuellement l'emplacement de l'hotel qui est un peu dur à trouver sans GPS, je pense (mais j'en ai un... donc aucun souci).

Difficile à trouver, mais tellement éloigné de la route qu'il est très calme. Le batiment et les chambres sont à rénover, il ne correspond plus à ce qu'on attend d'un hotel. Chambre étroite, literie usagée, television minuscule, vieille moquette au sol, salle de bain avec baignoire, faience cassee. J'ai apprécie le calme de cet hotel etant donné qu'il est peu fréquenté, et isolé car loin de la route principale.

POSITIVO: hotel a circa 6km dal centro di strasburgo, proprio accanto alla stazione e alla fermata dell'autobus. Le aree comuni della struttura in buone condizioni, personale gentile. NEGATIVO: pulizia della camera veramente di bassissimo livello, cibo e cotton fioc dimenticati negli angoli. tappezzeria da rinnnovare. presenza di diversi insetti, di varie forme e colori. il secondo giorno (1 gennaio), la camera non è stata rifatta. in generale, comodo per una sosta di una notte, per persone non troppo schizzinose. POSITIVE: hotel approximately 6km from the center of Strasbourg, just next to the rail station and the bus stop. Common areas in good condition, friendly staff. NEGATIVE: cleaning of the room really very low, food and cotton buds forgotten in the room corners. upholstery in need a renovation. presence of various insects, of various shapes and colors. the second day (january 1st), the room has not been cleaned. in general, convenient for a one night stopover for people not too picky.

nous étions logé chambre 112 la fenetre est cessée elle ne ferme plus le chauffage de la la chambre ne fonctionne pas en été cela ne doit pas dérangé mais en hiver cela dérange énormément. les toilette était trés sale et le couvre lit avec de grosses auréoles d'urines. merci pour la nuit

Sympa... Sauf peut-être les prises inaccessibles... le ménage (sachet de paille retrouvé à côté de la tête de lit sur moquette !) le cadre au dessus du lit de travers, rideau arraché à gauche et à droite... Peut-être revoir à remettre un peu d'enduit pour reboucher les trous (ancienne télé) et peinture fraiche... Ca serait le top ! ha oui... et l'écran de tv, voire pour les prochains à négocier des + grands. Sinon vraiment, bon séjour... très reposant, car calme, chambre chaude en température et salle de bain intégrée ca change tout ! et petit déjeuner un vrai bonheur ! et l'équipe très accueillante ! alors bravo tout de même

accueil et personnel pas aimable; chambre communicante avec une autre : une porte fermée à clés entre les deux: on dort "avec le voisin" et pas d'intimité pour travailler... wifi ne permettant l'envoi des mails mais seulement l'accès internet 'conflit serveur proxy). équipement désuet, lampes aux dessus du lit HS. flexible de douche trop court pour prendre une douche debout dans la baignoire....

récent changement de propriétaire ce qui n'excuse pas l’état déplorable de la salle de bain,pas de bouchon pour la baignoire, pas grave, une douche..... pas de rideau ce qui fait que l'on mouille partout.. et surtout des coins sale, mais par contre , a 10 min des marchés de noël, c'est agréable... personnel sympa et serviable, déjeuner copieux hôtel pour une nuit sans complication....mais pas pour un séjour plus long , a moins que nous ayons eu une chambre spécial au vus du prix payer......vraiment avantageux

je trouve que le ménage laisse à désiré .... toile araignée au plafond,le tour des robinetteries avec du calcaire. le drap de dessous trop court . je pense que les dames de ménage ont trop peux de temps dommage
