Our stay was amazing. Centrally located on the Boystown district. We checked in late at night. We woke up and were freezing. We were a little concerned that we’d be cold the whole stay. While the property was pretty worn and in need of repairs (door falling off hinge, toilet seat loose) it’s the most affordable option for a bed to sleep in we’ve found (even cheaper than the hostel for a private bedroom). The morning coffee and nice bars (and fridge access) were appreciated.

If you ever visit Chicago and are looking for a quiet and quirky place to stay that makes you feel at home, then the Villa Toscana is where you need to stay. The artwork and overall theme to this BnB is eccentric and fun, very easy going vibe and I would most definitely recommend this place to everyone I know that may visit Chicago in the future. 10/10 would come back.

Be sure to smile the entire time your there! In addition to the exterior ring doorbell cam. There are several undisclosed surveillance cameras inside the house, living room, kitchen etc.. there is even a camera on the second floor that records you walking from your room to the bathroom. I found it creepy. Otherwise i liked the location, room and comfortable bed. Its a cute old house filled with charm and cameras
