Good trip
the stay was great
Sandra, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Killed several roaches in the room. Many items in the room had thick dust on top of them. Bed wasnt bad and that was the only good thing about the place. No amenities offered. No coffee etc.

Nice but needs work
There was nothing exciting about the motel. The front desk staff was great. The room itself was clean but needed updating. We found that the pillow cases hadn't been changed so we bought new sheets and pillowcases for the bed not knowing whether the rest was cleaned.

Unexpected visit
I’ve stayed here many times every year to travel to Government Training Facility. Your staff came in our room at 0908hrs when check out was not until 11am. We had a do not disturb sign on our door. There was no pause or announcement upon opening the door after 1 knock. Your staff almost ate lead for such a careless and stupid act not to mention extremely rude and unprofessional. Rolling carts by doors back and forth in excessive passings is rude and does not provide any quality of sleep. The excuse staff stated was there was no vehicle in front of the room. That would be correct. It was so busy I had to park at the front because it was the closest space to my room. Hairs in the bathtub. Electrical wire taped light cord, no security bar on door, towels are thin as a rag and poor quality.

6/10 Good

Pricing is good. It's close to a few places to eat. Staff is friendly. The building is old and the rooms could use some updating. The biggest complaint was that when we got to the room at 330pm, the A/C was not on at all. So it was warm in the room, approximately 85°. So we turned in the A/C on and set at 65°, when we returned at 930pm. The room was cioler but not cold.

A good choice
A humble establishment. Clean, comfortable, shows some aging. Affordable and convenient.

Moving Day
Stayed here ine night after packing a moving truck in 100 degree weather, prior to driving to AL the next day. I called to make sure the air was turned on in the room. The manager told me he would gladly go turn it on for me. The room was very comfortable when we arrive. Two of my daughters and their husbands stayed two nights. We all requested to be near each other and they were able to put us in three rooms side by side. Manager and wife were both very friendly.

Proprietor cared about my well-being. The room is clean, renovated, updated! Well worth the money, on a Main Street in Barnwell. Would definitely recommend it!

Not quite picture perfect....
Pictures are great and reviews are good considering the other locations in the area. However, feel like the pictures were somewhat misleading to the actual condition of the establishment

The road that leads into the parking lot is horrible, large potholes. The room could have been a lot more clean.
Jackie, 1-night trip

Room was clean and maid service was good. Facility is dated. Coffee used for in-room coffee maker was very weak and generally not very tasty.

Not Clean
They should clean the linen better than what they are doing.

Sign outside said newly remodeled, but clearly by the condition of the room and the men working on the building not much has been done.

It was okay
It was a place to stay. My room wasn’t able to lock though couldn't keep valuables in the room. The staff tried to instruct me to have the interior handle all the way up but even then it wasn’t locking consistently.

First of all pick the days inn next door and save your money. All pictures are outdated or fake and the place smells of broken dreams, and loneliness. Doors to the hotel lobby is locked and the Owner parks infront of the front door Breakfest isnt servered/made The staff is rude and charges you more then what booking was agreed upon and went into our room while we were away(not the cleaning staff) we were across the street when watched them go inside briefly and come back out and hang the do not disturb sgin. The walls drip with dirt in the bathroom when the shower is on The baseboards or horrifyingly dirty The AC unit was dirty and clogged Shingles on the roof dont match the picture. Not even the same roof. Horrible patch job Shower runs hot enough to give second degree burns. Toliet leaks and tub is stained Wall plugs coming out of the wall Cracked floor tiles Pro: Working shower that will melt the skin off a women Didnt see any bugs but did have a few bite marks Next to huddle house

When i got there to check in i thought i had already paid through the app, the person at front desk told me to call Expedia it was cold and raining so i took my kids home i live behind the facility called expedia and came back and the owner said he canceled the reservation because i left. He is the one who told me to call expedia which i did and the agent explained it held my reservation and to pay at properly.

Don’t do it
The room was hot because they use window units and it was not on. The bathroom water in the toilet smelled like literally sewage water when the toilet was flushed. The sheets on the bed was definitely not clean. I’m not that much of a picky person because I have seen worst living conditions in the Army, but that was definitely no where to stay. Even if you was thinking like me to just stay there to lay your head down. Do not do it.
